High quality food

Recommended by a friend, this food has lots of real chicken and excellent ingredients, and does NOT have some of the bad ingredients common in many other brands that are supposed to be high quality.

It's a split hit!

More than half my cats who eat canned food like it. Those that do, really like it! I was a bit surprised by the consistency at first; it is thick, not watery as I expected "au jus" to be, but that seems to be just fine with the ones who like it. I do find that a can here and there is more sauce than shredded meat, but even those are devoured with gusto.

Wonderful healthy food

My cat tends to have blood sugar that goes too high. I needed to find a food that was high protein, no by-products, no fillers .... and after a lot of research I found the Weruva brand. I talked with the company and got a print-out of the protein vs. carb content. All the food in their "Cats in the kitchen" brand are exceptionally healthy with low carbs and no grains. You can see the quality when you open the can and it even smells good. My cat just loves all their line of wet food. You can't go wrong with this! Try it .... your cat will thank you for it.

Not Satisfied

My cats used to love this brand but over the last year or so it seems there have been more problems than not. About half of the last batch I received was severely dented and on top of this, some of the cans when opened looked like the food was very old. My cats would not touch the food in these cans. The food is typically a bright pink and will brown/gray over time as it is exposed to the air, yet some of the cans in my last batch were already brownish gray (photo attached). Will be moving away from Weruva as I am seeing many others have issues with this food as well.

  • Gross! Food should not be gray when freshly opened.

Picky cat loves this

Gale is a picky cat who for the longest time wouldn't eat anything except chicken. One day I bought this from a different store as a treat unsure if she would eat it. Gale ended up eating the whole can in two meals and asked for more. The only downside was slow delivery.

Sudden disinterest

I finally thought I found a food they would eat! They went through two cases and everything was fine. This past shipment I got they sniff and walk away. I don’t know if something changed but I am upset I have so much food that they won’t eat now. Definitely a lot of money to throw away :(

My Stubborn Cats

This seems like good food, shredded chicken in a sort of sauce. I would've thought that my cats would go wild about it, but both of them have turned their noses up and refused to eat it 3 times now. They are usually pretty easy going, but are adamantly against this food. They must know that I bought a case.

A winner for 2 of our pickiest cats!

Decided to try this variety when it was offered at a great sale price, and am so glad I did! Our picky senior Calico who also needs low phosphorus food devoured this, and another of our adult cats who is also very finicky, also loved this variety. All 5 ate it, but those particular 2 just thought they'd gone to heaven at meal time! I admit unfortunately it's too costly at regular price for our multiple cat household for me to purchase regularly, but will definitely buy again and watch for future sales. Great product and company, and I highly recommend it.
