I like how small the packets are, its more like a supplement then a meal replacement so I think the size is perfect. The packets do splatter a little bit when you open them, so open it over the sink. My dog weighs 40 lbs and I think the volume per packet is good, however, my dog will not eat this stuff. It looks and smells like baby food, and she won't eat it. So it has 3 stars because my dog won't eat it, so I can not say if it works or not. (All three of my cats will also not touch it, even though they never get treats or anything but normal dry food). I left it out all day and night, and it was untouched.

This is perfect package portion for the week for one of my kitties. I have bought the can and would end up throwing rest away or freezing it but after freezing it he wouldn't eat it

One of my kitties has issues with constipation and mucous in her poop from having IBD. Within a few days of adding 1 teaspoon of pumpkin to each meal her poop is now normal. I also give it to my other cat too since he likes it. If your cat doesn't immediately like it then go slow and add a very small amount and work your way up to the desired amount. The pro's are that it tastes very fresh; fresher than canned pumpkin, the size of the pouch is convenient versus big cans of "people pumpkin" that most goes to waste since it only stays fresh a few days, and best of all; it works! The improvements I would suggest would be to use organically sourced pumpkin, and to package it in baby food jarsOne of my kitties has issues with constipation and mucous in her poop from having IBD. this product passes the picky kitty test. My guys think they are getting a treat because of the pkg. The consistency is good as well. Mine will eat this while they turn a nose up at canned pumpkin.

My cat needs fiber for high calcium bloodwork. My vet. suggested pumpkin. Have tried a few other pumpkin items but he doesn't like the smell/or taste. So he won't eat it when mixed in his food no matter how little I mix in.! Tigger is a very finicky eater. That's why I had to rate it only one star for him.

Using it to help my cat with diarrhea. I like the individual pouches versus having to open a can of pumpkin.
Liked very much!

My kitty LUVS pumpkin. I thought that the individual packets would be more convenient than freezing and thawing unused pumpkin from a larger can. My cat wouldn't touch it. I even added tuna (which is his 'crack'). He still would have absolutely nothing to do with it. It has an odd color - more yellow than orange - so maybe it's just too watered down. Will stick with organic canned.
My dog loves it now

Our vet recommended adding a little bit (tbsp) of pumpkin to my dog's food every day to help with intermittent diarrhea and constipation issues. At first she wouldn't touch it and would eat around it. After a while she finally actually ate it (maybe by accident?) and now she eats it all every day. It seems to have helped with her stomach issues and she hasn't had any issues in the past couple of weeks that she has been actually eating the pumpkin instead of eating around it.
Great addition to meal time!

I was buying large cans of pumpkin to keep my dog regular. Hes only 10 pounds so I dont need too much. Id end up throwing out half the can each week because i felt after a certain amount of days its no longer good, I'm trying to fix his stomach problems not create more. This is much better, I know its fresh and 1 pouch is good for 3 meals for him. Will definitely buy again!
