    A packet of fishy slime

    By on

I knew this was a pate, but it is almost like fish jello. Neither of my cats will touch it. If I mix it in with anything else, they won't eat it either. They just look at me like "this isn't food." And they both eat Weruva canned, so I think the consistency is the problem for them

    Odd but it works

    By on

This is an odd concept. But being that it’s Weruva, I gave it a try. By accident, my 1 pack turned into 4? Decided to keep them. Most of my cats go for it and that the important bit. I roll up the sleeve from the bottom and product slips out. Then I kinda break it up a little with a spoon. I got 4 of the same type so need to try another flavor blend to satisfy all cats here.

Odd to me, great to them

The thing I like least about pouch foods is the fact that you can’t get it all out of the bottom. It sticks to the sides. You have to run the water and swish it around if you have any hope of getting all the product into the bowl. This “Slide n’ Serve” formula takes that problem and fixes it with a very odd formulation of cat food. You rip open the pouch and the food literally slides out and plops into the bowl. I find it easy to press my thumbs into the outside of the pouch before opening and have two servings slide out separately. I choose not to chop up the food, because I find the solid slab forces my cats to slow down when they eat. I did learn the hard way that it is better to serve this The thing I like least about pouch foods is the fact that you can’t get it all out of the bottom. It sticks to the sides. I choose not to chop up the food, because I find the solid slab forces my cats to slow down when they eat. I did learn the hard way that it is better to serve this in a bowl with higher sides, because, in their enthusiasm, the cats tend to push it around, and I would find large pieces on the placemat. Now that I’m using the bowls, they always eat it all. Definitely easier to clean up then the canned fish food with the giant chunks of fish bodies. … more

    It's not bad

    By on

My cats were unsure about this until I read the instructions (duh!) and it says to stir after you slide it out. That made all the difference in the world. Now they eat it just fine. Supposedly you can mail back the packages for recycling, but I haven't tried that.

Weruva is a very good product

    By on

My view is it depends on the cat or cats. This is great food but not every cat will go crazy over it. My cats are just not that hungry so they eat it but leave something which really gets me upset.

    Not impressed

The cats would not even get near the product. The texture and consistency was not what I expected. Cats in the Kitchen is what my fur babies prefer!

    Picky kitty loves it!

I have a cat that usually turns her nose up at anything with fish, but she loves the texture of this. I'll have to try some more flavors to see if she likes more of them or not!

My cat won't touch this food

    By on

I think it is this specific flavor because she eats the chicken flavor. I have to add water to my cat's wet food to ensure adequate water intake and when I added the water to this particular flavor, each time it congeals into a very weird consistency.

Great for some, but not for my 2 cats

    By on

I am sure this is a product is a hit with some cats, but neither of my cats would even taste the food. I ended up donating it because I could not use it.
