Why type of treats do you put in a Qwizi tough treat
Answer by ChewyJul 09, 2021
The Qwizl toy pairs well with bully sticks, dental chews, nut butters, kibble, jerky, cheese chunks, smashed banana, dog biscuits, and more.

which size would accomodate bully sticks, 12" thick, which I have bought from you in a pack of 24, measuring about 1/2" X 3/4". They are not square in shape??? Would it fit tight in small or large?
Answer by ChewyMar 25, 2021
The openings on the Qwizl toys are as follows; small 3/8” diameter, large 1/2”. The length of the bully stick does not really work with the diameter of the opening.

Where is this toy made?
Answer by ChewyMar 24, 2021
This toy is made in the United States.

can this be used outside
Answer by ChewyJan 19, 2023
This toy can be used outside. However, please remember your dog’s safety is your responsibility. No dog toy is indestructible. Choose only toys that are the appropriate shape and size for your dog and always supervise your dog’s use of this toy, If damage occurs, please discontinue use of the toy immediately.

Eco-conscious. Tough but not indestructible.

Anything that lasts for more than a few minutes is a great way to keep heavy chewers busy. However, for the price these are, I wish they weren't so easy to bite chunks out of. Qwizls are mostly excellent at "slow-feeding" the sausage treats and cheese sticks that you can stuff inside, but once the dogs get frustrated from being unable get to the leftover pieces of treats, they resort to brute force which leads to deep cuts and gouged-out chunks of plastic. They're supposedly non-toxic, but no one likes the thought of eating this material. At least it's eco-friendly and recyclable, but of course that costs you too (to ship back to West Paw).

Good for medium chewers only

5 stars for medium chewers, 0 stars for powerful chewers = 3 stars. We had this one for 12 years for our 72 lb female Lab. After she passed we gave it to the 1 year old MALE Lab (also 72 lbs), and it lasted 2 weeks before he cracked it and another week before a big chunk broke off. For a medium chewer, it's great; you can stuff it with peanut butter or hotdog pieces that you need to squeeze in and it lasts a long time. For a powerful chewer it's nice while it lasts which isn't very long.

the best west paw toy imo

So far so good! Have only had it a few days but is holding my 1 year old border collie/heeler/lab mix’s interest so far. Have the smaller size and it fits her well. She’s 34 lbs. Have put baby carrots inside & small old mother Hubbard bone shaped hard treats in so far but I think pupperoni type treats will work well too. Treats can be shoved in the long cylindrical ends but also in the gaps in the top/bottom (it’s a roundish shaped toy so there’s not really a top/bottom but idk how else to describe it). We also have the west paw tux which has kind of been a bust. Treats are too easy to get out and yeah you can freeze it but it’s a pain to set up in the freezer bc it doesn’t have a flat bottom so you have to prop it (chewy sells a penguin that you can fill with broth or whatever and freeze and it’s flat and stackable. So much better for pupsicles). We also have both sizes of toppl. Those are ok. Better for freezing but also have to be fiddled with. For just kibble feeding they work but the omega treat ball is wayyyyy better (much cheaper and takes longer). tl;dr - if you’re going to fork out the money for a west paw the qwizl is worth it imo

One truly tough toy

I have a Dalmatian that is a really aggressive chewer of his toys and I have found that the West Paw Qwizl chew toy is the best toy for him. He loves it whether it has a treat in it or not! It lasts for at least six (6) months where other toys do not last half that long for him. Also I love that that this toy is made in the USA. To sum up it is a very tough toy that has provided my dog with plenty of fun and being made here in the US is a big positive too.

Great chew toy for aggressive chewers

This rubber type bone is great for keeping my dog occupied for at least 30 minutes. The meat stick inserts are not easily removed & gives her a challenge! Get the Plato Pet Treats Thinkers meat sticks.

Excellent bully stick holder

This design is perfect for my puppy. He can hold it with his paw while the bully stick is elevated off floor for easy chewing. He loves it. Plus we don't have to worry about him swallowing a small piece because it holds it securely.

Qwizl + Bully Stick

I use this qwizl to carry the bully stick, so my puppy doesn't get the end of the bully stick lodged in her throat or intestine. It keeps her occupied for about an hour. She absolutely loves this! It's made of tough material that at least for my puppy, is indestructible!

Doodle and Poodle love it!

Our super chewers who need lots of brain cycles spent love this! We stuff it with the larger Gooberlicious treats, smearing a couple into the ends of the toy.
