Wet Noses Sweet Potato Little Stars Dog Treats are gentle on the tummy but full of flavor to motivate pups to learn a new trick or two. These star-shaped bits won’t crumble and are no bigger than a pencil eraser, which makes them the perfect size for training. The limited ingredient recipe includes organic sweet potatoes mixed with a bit of cinnamon and molasses. Your dog will enjoy the rich blend of flavors, but he’ll also benefit from the antioxidant power of beta carotene for immune system support.

We are stuck on these in both flavors for my 6 pound Pom. We housebroke her with treats and so she does receive a treat whenever she goes pee or poo outside. It works well because Poms are difficult to housebreak. I love these and so does my Pom, Livvie. Since they are so tiny, there is no danger of her getting fat from trreats and also because they are organic and do not contain any undesireable ingredients. My Pom is raw-fed and these treats are THE ONLY manufactured food item that goes inside her stomach. Her main diet is raw green tripe which is the best food for dogs. (Look it up on Collielife) It mimics the diet when dogs lived in the wild and killed their prey to eat. She also gets raw beef, raw chicken, raw turkey, raw fish, raw bones (real, not too big). I make dried beef liver which less than one gram goes into every dinner which keeps her regular (a very small amount) and never has constipation or diarrhea. Also raw veggies. I sprinkle coconut oil over the meal which keeps her hair shiny and thick. One last item goes in every meal - raw oats - a few grams. I weigh each meal and twice a day she gets approx 2 ounces of food + or - . This keeps her weight stable and her poop perfect. She has no problems but luxating patella (common in small breeds) which is adequately taken care of by Cosequin. (1/2 tablet every other day). She is happy, healthy, a certified working therapy dog and a regular consumer of "the best" treats...Little Stars. Thank goodness for one of my Pet Therapy friends who told me about Little Stars. There is NO MESS because they are dry and tiny but also healthy and tasty!
They are just ok. I am not sure what attracts my puppy. Very tiny. I could not even smell anything such as a sweet potato scent. I actually tried one since I was skeptical. It had no flavor at all . I would not buy again. I wanted my puppy to be excited about trying it.
None of my 4 little dogs liked these. I'm going to mix them in with their dry food so they won't be a total waste. My dogs love sweet potatoes but not these little stars.
these are the best training treats in existence as far as Im concerned. if you have a dog under 10 pounds you need these treats. I like the sweet potato flavor because they smell like cinnamon but your dog may prefer the peanut butter recipe. I love being able to put these straight into my pocket and not worry about greasy meaty smells in my clothes. I DEPEND on this product as every other training snack is too big for toy breed puppies in my opinion. This small treat makes reinforcement training so much easier.
I have 2 small adult rescue dogs that weigh 10-11 lbs. These treats are the perfect size for our training sessions and reinforcing random small behaviors throughout the day. Will absolutely be ordering again. We bought these originally because the Zuke’s Crunchy Naturals in the 2s size went out of stock everywhere (still not sure why exactly but it’s been several months now and no sign of those coming back). But honestly I might stick with these even if the other treats do come back in stock!
For owners who watch Kcals for their pups, the new version of this treat has a different recipe with THREE times the calories -- even though the box says "New Look - Same Clean Recipe". I've loved these little treats because I can feed a number to my dog without a lot of calories. NOT SO now. There are a lot of other treats with THREE kcal which are larger and more palatable. Forget these.
My fault for not reading more carefully. I was just looking for organic training treats and didn't pay attention to how teeny tiny these things are, they are more like confetti! I just assumed they'd be little barrel sized training treats. Wrong!! Chewy's description of them being about M & M size is incorrect. To make matters worse, my chow hounds won't eat them.
My pets would not come close to these things... I take treats outside for neighbor dogs and 6 different dogs turned away from these! Threw the whole bag away.
We love these treats! They are small enough that the dogs may have multiple treats. They fit into my pocket and don't make my clothes smell like "dog snacks." They're durable: they don't crumble in my pocket. Organic means I don't need to worry about how much and what unhealthy product they are otherwise consuming. And all the dogs think they are yummy!
I love using organic when I can so I was so excited to try these treats for my 40 pound staffy mix as a training treat. She likes them but not as much as other treats that are much softer than these crunchy treats.
