Feed 1-3 tsp daily per bird. Adjust accordingly based on consumption. Always provide fresh drinking water with each feeding.
My canary and finch prefer this food over the other foods I have tried so far.
Birds like it, but still some waste as in all feed.
I buy a lot from Chewy for my dogs and birds. They are very helpful on their 24/7 help line. Shipments are prompt and accurate. Never disappointed.
We have lots of birds that visit our yard and i am sure it is due to them visiting one of the 5 feeders i have out in different places and more during winter months. Yes, birds argue over feeders and try to dominate each one and especially at mating season, or so i have seen. The small birds like finches and young doves are left out as they are sometimes chased away by the bigger birds at the feeding young baby birds season. I put this on the ground and the finches and doves, who have small becks peck away and can eat also. It is cold here now and they love the food as no bugs to eat.
The price on this food made me think it was inferior to others. Untrue! It is packed with vitamins and has a really nice variety of seeds and pellets and grasses. Great food you should try it!
I give Joey, my captive wild canary who was rescued from a hawk trap where he was the bait, 2 t a day. He usually doesn't eat the little tan lumps, but otherwise it gets eaten, I think. (I was told he is fussy.)
I bought finch bird seed as it's hard to buy at a reasonable price in the store. Such a good buy, and my birds are happy, too.
My old guy chows this down What more can I say I want to keep him singing for as long as I can So will reorder for sure
Not too sure if my tamed canaries like this 100%, they are eating it but may have to mix in regular canary seed to make it a hit for them.
My Canaries love it as do the wild sparrows. Have l;iots of birds visiting me.
