What do I need to collect from my cat for DNA testing. Saliva, nail clipping, urine?

This test requires a collecting cheek cells for testing. Firmly roll the swab’s bristles between the inner surface of the cheek and gums for about 15 seconds for each swab. NOTE: DO NOT let your pet eat anything or share a water dish with other pets for about an hour before you do the test.

Is there a minimum age a cat has to be to display accurate results on this DNA test ?

Wisdom Panel is designed for cats of all ages and is safe and easy to use at any stage in a cat's life. However, we do recommend waiting until a kitten has been weaned to prevent cross-contamination from suckling on their mother and having cells from her skin and milk in their mouth at the time of swabbing.

Wisdom panel has no record of my email

I followed the instructions carefully, activated the kit and mailed. It’s been a little over a week and I decided to login to make sure my kit was being processed

The website has no information and doesn’t have a record of my email and password. It keeps telling me to try a different email. There seems to be no customer service so I may be out of money and out of luck.

Interesting

I would say maybe three and a half stars. It was easy to register and follow the directions. We weren't sure we got a good sample, but it worked. Results were faster

I would say maybe three and a half stars. It was easy to register and follow the directions. We weren't sure we got a good sample, but it worked. Results were faster than expected. Our results were interesting to us, but not sure I'd pay full price. It was a very weird breed mixture, some coloration and fur probables, and nothing flagged health wise. I think the health information would be useful, but luckily it didn't apply. I would like to do one of our other cats, but I might try a different test.

So my son got a kitten from my co-worker. A pregnant momma found a way into her box springs and gave birth...TRUE story. One kitten, my son's Max, stood out from other litter mates. I was thinking medium hair tabby with Siamese. Beautiful soft coat and bluest eyes. While he is mostly a domestic cat, he is also Norwegian Forrest cat, Siberian, Persian, Scottish fold and Main Coon. This mix makes one beautiful BIG cat. Max is about 15 lbs and still growing.

The Wisdom Panel gives us some surprises. Photos and behavior indicated he is a Maine Coon. Domestic is over 50% and Rag Doll , another large one is second. Health
