My cat has problem teeth because I only feed wet food, but isn't willing to corporate with me actually brushing his teeth. However, my vet told me that it's the enzymatic paste that does most of the work versus the actual brushing. My cat is very happy to chew on the brush, but I haven't found any that are double-sided for this purpose. I've tried the ones that look like mini paint rollers, but those fall apart too easily. I also hate to keep throwing away plastic and am concerned about my cat ingesting small pieces too. This brush has nice long soft bristles so I actually just load it full of the paste and he can chew on it sideways to get both top and bottom teeth at the same time without chewing on the hard back plate which is also now softer bamboo that is eco-friendly.

Woobamboo Toothbrush not as expected

I gave this toothbrush a one star because the bristles are very rough not soft at all. I was afraid to use on my girl who already has sensitive gums and bleeds occasionally

I gave this toothbrush a one star because the bristles are very rough not soft at all. I was afraid to use on my girl who already has sensitive gums and bleeds occasionally. Disappointed in the toothbrush but shipping was fast. Would not recommend to use on pets at all in the fear of irritating the gums.

Molds & Falls Apart

Size could be smaller for chihuahua mouth but it's hard to find smaller brushes. The wood will hold water and start to decay/develop mold quickly, so make sure you

Size could be smaller for chihuahua mouth but it's hard to find smaller brushes. The wood will hold water and start to decay/develop mold quickly, so make sure you dry it thoroughly after each use. After about 6 months, the wood started to chip at the back and had to be thrown out. Won't buy again

too big for chi mouth

I go through toothbrushes with my Chihuahua so quickly because she chews on them as I attempt to brush her back teeth. It felt great to find a compostable toothbrush

I go through toothbrushes with my Chihuahua so quickly because she chews on them as I attempt to brush her back teeth. It felt great to find a compostable toothbrush so I wouldn't have to go through so much plastic. Unfortunately, the bamboo is so thick and the bristles are quite long, so the toothbrush doesn't fit in my dog's mouth very well. It looks like I'll have to stick to plastic toothbrushes for now.
