Don't buy. Tracks all over just like the clay litter
I was looking for a new fresh clean cat litter, so I thought I would try this product. I cleaned out my cat boxes from the old clay litter, added this world's best cat litter. At first I loved the smell and the texture of the the product, then 15 minutes later it was tracked all thru my house. I was so disappointed. I thought maybe I had found the solution to the tracking issue. I was wrong.
I have long been using the regular unscented for multi cat households, but I decided after moving and having to set up litter boxes in different areas to try a couple of the scented options. I first tried the lotus blossom, which I did like but I don’t think it held up as well as this lavender scented option. I will continue to buy the lavender scented because I think it does a good job of containing odors.
Works fine but smells terrible
This litter works the same as any other corn based litter. The issue is this smells overwhelmingly like pizza to me. The lavender and corn scent combined with cat pee smells like oregano and becomes gag-worthy very quickly. The unscented kind is much more tolerable.
world’s best litter indeed
In the past I’ve used other litters, but this one really lives up to its name. I’m a little fanatic when it comes to cleaning the litter box, to avoid the smell, but when I’m away at work and come back, there is not smell, the litter really covers it up. Also, the clumping is so fast! I can go right after my cat urinates, and clean it right away! I’m very happy with this litter and will be buying it on auto ship!
Yes, it seems to be the best for the money
I recently became to owner of two cats when their owner had to leave town. I thought he was nuts paying so much for this cat litter. I have found it is worth the price as I use less for a longer period of time than a less expensive brand . People have remarked that my house does NOT smell like I have cats. It may be that I am keeping their litter box clean but I DO think it has something to do with the litter. I have mentioned this to my friends with cats and they agree it is better for the environment and the smell that comes with having cats. I now buy it knowing I am not spending more for the World's Best cat litter.
I thought I'd try this and it's amazing! I added some to the regular World's Best Cat Litter in the red bag and scooping the litter box isn't a stinky chore anymore! With each scoop or swish you get a very pleasant scent! I didn't use it all in the litter box as I didn't know if the scent would affect Molly. I highly recommend.
Full disclosure, I received a free bag of cat food for “buying” this. I wouldn’t even use it for free!! This left my entire living room (the litter boxes are in the adjoins room) smelling FOUL. And my cats were avoiding using it! It smelled like sweet cat pee. It was TERRIBLE. I finally bought all new litter and dumped it. Never again.
Better than most
Firstly, let me say I'm not really a fan of clumping litter. I'm trying this (again -- my old cat did not like it) and it's better than most. I like the scent, too -- but it's not lavender. It's cinnamon. I am still looking for a replacement for natural cedar litter. It's without a doubt the best litter I've ever used. Simple, light weight, little dust, pleasantly scented, and you can compost it into mulch. You can't do that with any other litter.
Not the World's Best
This is my first and last time buying this litter. It doesn't clump well at all. The clumps stay wet, (I guess because it's made of corn) and break apart easily when you go to scoop them. It sticks to my poor kitty's paws, and gets tracked all over the house. Plus, I don't know what these people think lavender smells like, but this certainly isn't lavender. In fact, the smell is really bad. It smells like a Port-a-Potty in my house. It's also very expensive. There are litters out there that cost half as much and are way more effective. I called to take them up on their money back guarantee, and I'm still waiting for my refund. I'll never use this stuff again.
stiffing smell and does not clump
I tried this cat litter on a special of getting free food with it. It is HORRIBLE. It lasts so long because it doesn’t clump the urine. It only clings to the poo. So when you scoop the litter box, all the urine “clumps” break back apart. Therefore, you are keeping the urine litter in the box still. My husband has asthma and can’t scoop the litter when this litter is in the box.
