Best Litter So Far!

I've owned many cats since 2006. A few months ago we suddenly became a 9 cat household after taking in a feral mama and her five babies. As a result, I've had the opportunity to use a variety of litters over the years - pellet, clay, walnut, crystals, clumping, non-clumping, you name it. The last few years I settled on Natures Miracle corn cob litter, but it's become increasingly hard to find and we seem to go through it quickly. In a pinch during my last litter purchase, I had to settle on World's Best multicat corn litter figuring it was a close match to what I was already using. I got to compare firsthand the differences in the two litters as I finished up the old bag and replaced with the new brand, and I'm so impressed with World's Best! It lasts so much longer that our previous litter, and there's much less litter tracked out of the litterbox as well. The clumping ability is MUCH better as well. It has a natural, maybe earthy, smell but I'm not looking for flower or fresh laundry scents here. If one of my cats leaves an especially stinky gift, I just sprinkle a little baking soda litterbox deodorizer over the spot when I'm done scooping. Very little litter is left on feces, so I'm usually able to scoop, sift, and flush right into the toilet! My ONLY negative remark is that it's a little dusty, but I fill the litterbox by the cupful, not by dumping the bag into the box so it's a non-issue for us!

Breathing again

I searched for a lighter dust solution for litter - I have asthma and was having problems with the amount of dust in many of the litters I was trying - my kitchen, bedroom and other rooms were covered in dust & I was using inhaler, nebulizer and still I was having difficulty. After some research I found this brand and I am so glad! My elderly Maine Coon took the change in stride while my always cautious short hair took some time and mixing of litter in one box before he trusted it. (He's a late adopter to most of life!) Now he is fascinated by the flushing of the litter - and he's happier with cleaner litter. I breath better and it is easier to carry these bags one way,flushing the used litter. It lasts longer, about a month with 2 cats in 3 boxes then I clean them out - one box is not used as often so I can often go longer with that one. While it is a bit more expensive, for me it is worth the cost and it's saved with better health, happier cats and a less back pain carrying heavy litter to the trash.

Transitioning Struggles & Powder Residue

Maybe I did something wrong but the translation from Crystal to Corn has not gone well. I was cleaning Dr E Crystal from all over and the Urine smell was not good with my two boys. My 1 bedroom apartment stunk of pee. BUT they were regular in their litter box’s . Someone recommended WB Corn and I liked the concept because of it’s natural properties. Now they are going last frequently - holding off to poop. Also. a powdery residue is collecting on the couch cover. Giving this product a little longer.

I've been using World's Best for about 10 years. I started using it when I began fostering cats/kittens. When I stopped and only had my single I continued to use the multiple cats in the red bag. I was ill for awhile and unable to clean the litter box as often as I used to. My cat was still able to use the litter box and there was no smell. I recently recommended to someone who was dissatisfied with her current brand including Pretty Litter. She just started using WB and loves it.

Poor clumping abilities

My kitten came from the shelter with a smaller bag of this and I liked it for the week it lasted that I decided to purchase this giant bag. Not sure if it's a quality control issue, but I find the new bag I purchased has pretty poor clumping abilities with urine. It will make a seemingly fine clump of urine, but upon the lightest shake with a litter scope, small bits will break off. The broken-off pieces are very noticeable--more yellow than the rest--but would take hours if I were to pick each one out by hand, so I give up. So usually by the end of the week (I dump out all of the litter weekly), the litter will have poor odor control and millions of these broken-off urine clumps, which is very annoying. Will try to use this big bag of litter for as long as I can stand this, but I will not buy again.

Its okay

I was in the market for new litter. I always used Natures Miracle Corn Cob Litter but it wasn’t lasting as long as i’d like and was not the best odor control. I heard this one was amazing but I was not that impressed. The smell of the litter itself is terrible, then combine that with urine and feces and i find myself struggling to even want to scoop the box. The longevity is great and the clumping ability is excellent but i cannot get past the smell. Maybe its just me. Its also EXTREMELY dusty. Thats my honest review. I might try their clay litter and see if i like it better.

Indeed the World's Best!!

I thought I would be smart and try a different, less costly product, but before I finished the container, and gagging profusely each time I cleaned out the cat box, I decided never, Never, NEVER to use anything else EXCEPT World's Best. It isn't worth it. All the yucky clumps now immediately and STAYS clumped, it's light-weight even when kitties use the box, and the odor is very minimal. I have four (4) kitties so I get plenty of practice cleaning out litter boxes. I know this stuff :)

Love this cat litter but..

This is by far the best kitty litter I have ever used and my cat that has been so difficult to train in the litter pans absolutely loves this litter, my only problem is when I went to carry it in the house it had a huge hole in the bag and I didn’t realize until it was too late so I had to purchase ANOTHER huge bag and all is well now. Just a slight inconvenience that probaly wasn’t chewy’s fault! But darn it was like throwing money in the toilet..

great litter!

I was looking for a natural and healthier litter after reading about how horrible clay and crystal litter is for your health and your cats health. I love this litter though. There’s barely any dust and it’s low tracking. I love that it clumps and doesn’t fall apart in tiny annoying pieces. I’ve been using it for several days and so far no smells! I highly recommend this litter! It’s great.

Doesn't stick to...

When litter is low in the pan-it neither sticks to the bottom nor the scooper. Unlike the 'scoop/clump' litter that you have to have filled to the max in the pan. every time. Not sure about order control- poop is poop. As many other costumers before we will mix this with the basic litter to make it stretch since its so $$$
