The natural flavor is a yeast-derived, neutral protein flavor. The mixed tocopherols are a natural mix of epimers of vitamin E. They do not contain poultry.

Cats claim I was starving them

I actually thought this was a stand-alone food. Served it as if it were regular canned food and my cats complained that I was starving them! They like it as a topper

I actually thought this was a stand-alone food. Served it as if it were regular canned food and my cats complained that I was starving them! They like it as a topper when the can is freshly opened, but do not like leftovers. I have 5 cats. I have 2 cases of this food so I suppose I'll crack open a fresh can twice a week as a topper/treat and offer the remainders to my not-so-fussy dogs. Note, cats DO love the Epigen kibble

The salmon flavor was purchased as a treat for our cat, Sneakers. Because it's grain-free & almost 100% protein, I thought he would love it. Nope! He nibbled at the first meal we gave it to him, mixed with his current food. At the next meal, he sat turned away from his food bowl, looking at my husband, as if to say "What did you put in my bowl? Whatever it is, I'm NOT eating it." We tried at one more meal but then we gave up. We couldn't deprive him of food since he's a diabetic and needs his insulin but has to eat to get it.

We’ve used Wysong for years. The grain free, 95% salmon formula is perfect. We also use the Wysong for Seniors dry dog food to switch things out.
