Help Calm my Dog with CCD!!

I believe my dog has early onset CCD (dementia) & she gets very paranoid, anxious and barks at nothing (that I can see anyway)!! These help calm her along with Zesty

Zesty Paws Calming bites

Our fur baby goes with us to all Doctor & Hospital related appointments. In past he has been 100% chill where most Doctors, etc. didn’t even notice him in his roll

Our fur baby goes with us to all Doctor & Hospital related appointments. In past he has been 100% chill where most Doctors, etc. didn’t even notice him in his roll crate. However since he is becoming an older fur baby he gets a little anxious and may start to bark a little. So I purchased these calming bites and gave him 1 for a trial. It took a while to kick in about 45 minutes. Once it did, He really was chill yet awake. So I will be trying one the next Medical appointment to prove or disprove my trial run. So far so good.

Neither of our dogs liked these.

They took one sniff and walked away. This brand just doesn't work well for us. Sadly, I purchased 4 or 5 different types from this brand and they will not eat any

These are very pricey so save your money, it can't be just a coincidence that both our dogs that are completely different breeds would not eat them.

Good, but had to increase the dose.

American bulldog/Great Pyrenees mix is 105lbs; beagle mix is 35 lbs. Gave both dogs the recommended dose for their weight range. Waited ~2.5 hours with no change

Gave 1 extra snack each and that seemed to work. My dogs are generally pretty anxious in new situations and around new people so it didn’t seem to last very long.

Worked as intended

Our young, high energy lab gets anxious on long drives. Just wanted her to chill out not act like she was drugged. These worked for the two long drives (3.5 hrs)

Our young, high energy lab gets anxious on long drives. Just wanted her to chill out not act like she was drugged. These worked for the two long drives (3.5 hrs) we’ve tried them with so far. I’m not really sure how long they would last. She was ready to play as usual at the end of those drives. Second drive was even better than the first. She was chill and didn’t act like she was going to hyperventilate. She ate them like a treat the first time we gave it. But then did not want to eat them the second time. (She’s a picky eater so probably nothing wrong with its taste) worth trying for an anxious car riding pup.
