New Formula is bad for sensitive stomachs

My dog has a sensitive stomach and has been getting diarrhea in the middle of the night for the last few days because of this new formula. Last night, he had to diarrhea every two hours. I’m super disappointed since we’ve been using Zesty Paws for the last 10 years for my dog and now we need to find a new probiotic and switch him over at his old age. The old Zesty Paws used a broad, multi-strain bacterial probiotic (including a stable spore-forming strain) to gently balance the gut, while the new formula shifts to fewer microbes plus fermentable ingredients (yeast and FOS) that stimulate gut activity and can increase urgency in sensitive dogs. Also seems like Zesty Paws shadily didn’t disclose this change anywhere. Shame.

Seem great to me, but the pups say pass

I've tried giving these to my 3 girls since they have soft stools ocassionally. Thought these would help stabilize things or at the very least be something healthy

I've tried giving these to my 3 girls since they have soft stools ocassionally. Thought these would help stabilize things or at the very least be something healthy to have. I noticed an increase in soft stools for the 1 dog that actually ate hers without complaint, though she was not excited for it. Her reaction to receiving was more of a "a treat is a treat, I guess, and this is better than nothing." Meanwhile, the other 2 dogs, despite 2 weeks of attempting to give these to and get them to love them, have both agreed these aren't tasty enough. They sniff and walk off or attempt to eat but spit out. My girls are foodies (especially one in particular), so denying anything edible screams it's not that great. I will continue to try to give, as these were like $30, but I'm not hopeful of any changes in acceptance. Who knows, though. Maybe something will eventually change with their tastebuds.

Was looking for probiotic and bought this. Vet shared it's not tested and to skip because could have issues for sensitive stomach - more unknown ingredients. Couldn't

Pup doesn’t like

No more poop socks!

We got our dog when he was about 2 years old and he had bounced around to a lot of foster families but never had a stable home. I think this contributed to his nervous

We got our dog when he was about 2 years old and he had bounced around to a lot of foster families but never had a stable home. I think this contributed to his nervous behavior and stomach issues. He would eat grass any chance he was outside, or if there was a bad storm or he was alone for any period, he would find soft things like clothes and stuffies to eat, even ripping up the carpet in places to chew it up. We have found fully intact socks in his poop on more than one occasion. Since we've been using these probiotics, the behavior has completely stopped! Two treats in his wet food in the evening and no more frantically chewing grass, socks, carpets, etc. Now our Goose only chews his toys for leisure.

Acceptable but not a ‘treat’

My dog would eat these, but she wasn’t motivated to do tricks for them so I guess they didn’t taste that good. But I do think they slightly helped her digestion
