Transition Instructions

While it’s perfectly safe to stop feeding your dog’s previous food one day and introduce Zignature the next, we recommend a gradual transition to Zignature for up to two weeks. This is especially true if your dog has been previously fed a high Grain, Corn, Wheat or Soy diet. Start by introducing a small amount of Zignature, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid an upset stomach as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.

I use one can with two cups dry. My dog loved it and its has great ingredients ands smells great. My only complaint was it was harder to get out of the can . Its not dry but it really sticks to the sids of the can

    Dogs loved this food

My dogs love all the Zignature canned food. I mix probiotics in a bit of canned for my dogs and give as treats, this particular one is quite dense, and hard to mix, so for my ease I will use the other ones, such as trout, catfish etc. I stay with those ones because of my one allergy dog, who does best with the fish..but dogs still loved the goat.

Dogs LOVE the goat canned food!

My 10 year old corgi has allergies, and can only eat novel proteins, and no wheat or corn. I had her on the Zignature Kangaroo, but I worried about only feeding 1 meat protein as it’s not best for their health. It was also one of the foods that was being fed to dogs who developed dilated cardiomyopathy which concerned me (no proof it was the food, just an observation so far). So I tried the duck and venison—neither was good with her allergies. I decided to try the goat, and WOW! She loved it! My other dog eats Stella and Chewy’s Raw Coated kibble and Ziwi Peak air dried raw (he’s a big, athletic dog) but I gave him a taste of this goat for fun, and he LOVES it too!
