Are the cans BPA and BPS free???

The only cans that are BPA free are Aluminum. As Zignature cans are not aluminum, they cannot officially say they're BPA Free, however, the lining inside Zignature cans is BPA Free. BPA is a part of the layer that helps bind the coating system to the metal of the can, but it is not in direct contact with the food. The coating system is a highly technical system that is designed to protect the freshness of the product and to ensure that the metal of the can does not rust or otherwise come in contact with the food.

This food is made with farm-raised turkey from the American Midwest. The manufacturer will source their high-quality ingredients within the United States depending on availability. None of the ingredients are sourced from China.

Zignature's food is not certified as organic, which means they cannot state their ingredients are GMO free. However, their meats are free of antibiotics and hormones.

This was so important for me since Apollo has allergies. Actually, what happened was that the kangaroo was no longer available. I asked someone at a local pet store

This was so important for me since Apollo has allergies. Actually, what happened was that the kangaroo was no longer available. I asked someone at a local pet store and they told me that I could give my dog another flavor and it wouldn’t hurt his allergies or upset his stomach because the formula was still the same. We bought one can and well my dog loves it and actually eats all his food now. No signs of any problems so far!

Good quality, dog likes it

I purchased two Zignature flavors (I usually buy a different brand) to try. One was salmon, and I wrote a poor review for that one. The aroma was very strong, so

The aroma was very strong, so I wasn't crazy about it, but my dog didn't like it either. This Turkey flavor was a winner though. He liked it, I liked it. I would buy it again.

Several of the cans were dented and out of 10 cases only 4 of them had the card board protective top cover.

Zignature does not add chicken or chicken meal to any of its products because many dogs are sensitive to chicken protein.
