The kibble that doesn't make him itch
Our little Maltese is pretty tough, but foods with grains bring out the worst in his itchiness. We love Zignature because if he gets bored with it after a while - we actually have to coax him to eat everything except yogurt - we can switch to another flavor. He's been eating this for three years. Super pleased. I was happy when our local pet store had samples we could try to see which he liked and didn't like. Handy size for camping, too. :) He likes 4 of the variety. That's perfect for us.
So far so good but...
So far it seems like both my dogs like this food but it's a kinda to early to tell if it's helping with the allergy issues. I will leave another review for that part. Only issue I have with this dog food is that there is alot of dog food dust in the bag, to the point where I have to use a strainer. I don't think this is a regular thing so I plan to getting another bag. But no really pleased with my first time experience.
so far so really good
My dog was eating the food from a different company and I have to say that the kibels did not have a good smell and I think that was a reason why my dog’s poop was extremely smelly. My brother recommended Zignature, I decided to give it a try and I’ve noticed that first of all my dog loves it, second the kibels don’t smell bad and finally my dogs poop it doesn’t smell as bad as it used to smell. Im very happy with it and if anything changes I will write another review.
My 3 dogs love this dry food, when we can get it in stock!
Great for Sensitive Dogs
My dog has a food allergy to egg by products, beef, and chicken. We switched him to this this year and have had no problems and he loves the taste. I also buy a small bag of other flavors that I know he is not allergic to and mix it in to give him a change up.
For a dog pickier than my toddler
My precious mona lisa a gsd now 1.5 years old has been the worst at eating since she was 8 weeks old going from taste of the wild to purina pro plan salmon and some lamb ones she would only eat if it was coated in canned food. This brand is a bit expensive but doing the math with the added cans its about the same and she loves this lamb food she will eat it without any canned food and this is a first for us and her. Her coat still looks beautiful and she's happy , now for my 7 month old Amstaff , wow she hates this food and she will eat anything! And the gas she gets from this food is out of this world . I can also tell she feels the discomfort but I did just place an order for their salmon flavor to see how she does. I actually requested a sample from a Facebook advertisement and this is how we discovered this brand . This will be my gsd brand for as long as we can afford it as for the Amstaff the search will continue . I wish we could sample all the flavors.
So far so good
We just started Heidi on this dog food. So far, she is tolerating it well.
Zignature is a good food for the dogs
My hound english pointer mixture is a very picky eater but he loves Zignature Lamb. Both my dogs are doing fine on this food. I had them completely on the homemade diet and looks like Zignature is doing a good job now, except the dogs are consuming more water than usual. Perhaps solt is a little more that suppose to in the food? otherwise I don't have any complaints. BTW Chewy has an outstanding customer service. Thank You.
My pup was having stomach issues and sensitivities to the food we were giving him. Zignature was recommended to me because we had a feeling that chicken was the problem. As soon as he was fully transitioned over to zignature (kibble, wet and treats) his poop and while demeanor changed for the better!!!
Complaint about quality
I have purchased the lamb formula dry dog food for 3 years. The last two times I received my shipment, the bag was not vacuum packed, was a lighter color and became powdery after an hour in the bowl. Not very happy with the quality lately!
