My 50 lb. dog is a super picky eater who seems to prefer small bite food and has taken to this particular formula. I'm happy he likes it but I'm noticing he's gotten a bit thicker since starting on it. Could the higher protein content of this food be a factor?

Have you been through multiple bags & feed the same amount? Not sure about this flavor but the feeding chart on my bag is much higher than the website. I don’t know if they’ve changed it but it might be worth looking into. Maybe you should be feeding less.

Has anyone had their cat eat this food?? I need something comparable in cat food! She loves it! I have to make sure she isn’t around the bowl when I feed my dog. It’s gotten bad!

Zignature does not yet offer recipes suitable for cats, but they're currently developing recipes for our feline friends. Until then, they recommend Fussie Cat, a high quality cat food line made in human-grade plants which is also produced by Pets Global.

Does zignature have enough omega oil or should I give her an omega supplement also?

This formula contains a minimum content of 4.5% for Omega-6 Fatty Acids, and 2.0% for Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Zignature's Zssential formula is designed to be suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds.
