Wouldn't choose this over other options

I have a Red Eared Slider in a 13 gallon Turtle Tub. When I opened this product for the first time, the little orbs (they look like orbees) were already leaking

I have a Red Eared Slider in a 13 gallon Turtle Tub. When I opened this product for the first time, the little orbs (they look like orbees) were already leaking in their packaging bubble. The packaging is VERY stable, they weren't crushed in any way and all 4 orbs are sealed individually. However, the orbs were seeping in the package. I touched one and it instantly started dissolving so my assumption is that warmth as well as moisture will dissolve the orb. It says one orb per 10 gallons per week on the packaging so I only used one as to not overdo the bacteria in my turtle's environment. I honestly haven't seen any change to the water, level of crud, nor any changes in my turtle. Overall, I'm not a fan and I'll just stick to my regular setup and purifiers.

Zilla makes a difference!

I put a Zilla capsule into my fish tank with the result that I did not have to clean the filter as often as I had before. The water seemed to stay clearer and cleaner

I put a Zilla capsule into my fish tank with the result that I did not have to clean the filter as often as I had before. The water seemed to stay clearer and cleaner for a longer period of time. I also put one into a container of water and mixed it for my granddaughter’s gecko Frankie. His water bowl did not get slimy after 24 hours and he did not have any problem drinking the water. The benefits of this product are noticeable on the first dose. I would recommend this product.

This is a neat product, considering turtles are VERY messy creatures! Love mine but yeah they can work up a mess. Having this extra boost of beneficial bacteria can definitely help create a healthier happier environment for you and your aquatic friend. Who would turn down a helping hand in keeping the tank clean right?! Only wish that there was a larger dose for large tanks such as my 75+ gallon tanks for my larger friends!

We always give the turtle pond a good cleaning when she wakes up from hibernation. That entails adding something to the water to help keep it clean and keep the filter in good use. These are really easy to use! The directions are very simple and straight forward. You can’t mess this up and even better, you can’t overdose it. The turtle didn’t bother with these when we added them. The pond still looks great.

I like these, they’re not messy. You can just add them into the water & they will pretty much disappear. My turtles didn’t mind it, either. I have a large stock

I like these, they’re not messy. You can just add them into the water & they will pretty much disappear. My turtles didn’t mind it, either. I have a large stock tank, so it’s a little bit harder to tell the difference. I haven’t noticed a huge change, but I add ~5gals of water every week & Ive used 2 of the dose balls so far. Update: I’ve now used the last dose balls, and can say the water is staying clear. There’s less fecal material & turtle sludge!

Seems to work well, my frogs are very sensitive about water and had no complaints. Would have worked better if I had an overhang filter rather than a sponge filter
