Healthy and my dogs LOVE it!

    By on

This is one of the most heathy dog foods out there. I read labels and most dog foods have a bunch of junk and fillers in them. The ingredients in Ziwi are real food that animals would eat in the wild. There is no corn or pea protein and it’s made with organ meat which is high in nutrients. The only draw back for me is that my chihuahua only needs 1/3 can of Ziwi per day. It would be nice to have a smaller single serving can for her so I don’t have to store cold dog food in the fridge for 3 days until the can is gone. I am very happy to have found a dog food that is really healthy for my girl.

    Great canned food

    By on

I did a lot of research before selecting Ziwi as the canned food for our dogs. It is pricey but the dogs love it. I use it in the morning to dress up their Nature's Logic dry food which I also get from Chewy.

AWESOME CHOICE - Only wish it wasn't out of stock today!! :)

I have a 15 year old shih tzu who has terrible allergies to just about everything that flies, moos, or has antlers. BUT she can eat lamb, rabbit, fish, and quail. Great! However, she's also allergic to potato, sweet potato, and rice. Oh, and any type of grass including alfalfa. (YES. REALLY.) Poor thing. So, we generally feed freeze dried raw...but I was thrilled to find this as another option. It requires no prep and easily hides her medications. Best of all - she LOVES it. The only problem is that my 3 pekingese all want to have some too. But at this price point (this is the cheapest of all the Ziwi Peak options) - I can't afford to feed it to everyone. Excellent product!

My lab loves this mackerel food and I love how healthy it is for him and the quality ingredients. It’s very expensive, so he gets this as a treat meal once a week.

Ziwi is wonderful and all my babies love it (3)! I started using Ziwi due to health problems one of my babies is experiencing with the hope of the building her immune system. Just started using the product so I'll keep you posted on her progress.

Great food but smells really bad!

    By on

It contains Mackerel so expect it to smell bad! I mix this with dry food and my dog chows it down so fast every time! It is a little pricey but I think it's worth it considering that it's made with mostly high quality ingredients. Would definitely buy again!

    Gus Greedily Gobbles

    By on

My dog, Gus, an Aussie, loves this stuff. The mackerel is from the south Pacific so should be free of most contamination, It is the only fish containing dog food I will feed him.
