All canned foods, both human and pet, must be sealed and heated, according to international regulations, in order to preserve and stabilize the contents. Ziwi Peaks carefully blended recipes are placed into the can raw and heated at the minimum temperature and time required to meet those regulations.

Good food, good ingredients...

Good food, good ingredients... However my CC won't even go near it. I tried 4 times to get him to eat it. He's usually not too picky but, won't touch it at all!

Canned Dog Food

Our dog is going through Chemo treatments and would not eat his regular food. Tried Ziwi and he has begun eating again. Great food!

I add a soup spoon as a topper to my Danes kibble. Mix with a little warm water to make it gravy. They love this. I use the mackerel and lamb and lamb also. I rotate to give them a variety. They lick their bowls clean. Pricey, but quality ingredients! The only negative is that the cans arrive dented quite often.

My 2 dogs love it

My 2 dogs are really enjoying this. I use it as a topper on their kibble and they are actually devouring their kibble now. The cans are a great size and each one

My 2 dogs are really enjoying this. I use it as a topper on their kibble and they are actually devouring their kibble now. The cans are a great size and each one lasts me for 3 feeds for both dogs (only because I just use it as a topper along with their normal kibble). Ingredients are great and I've had no problem introducing this into their diet (no upset bellies).

I spend a lot of time reading ingredients, researching companies, and reading reviews, to find humanely resourced, healthy food for my dogs. So far there are only two I really feel comfortable buying for my babies, Orijen (which includes Acana) and Ziwi. Nutritionally they are all rated 4.5 to 5 stars, but they fit the equally important other qualifications I look for. My dogs can hardly wait for me to get it out of the can

Good ingredient’s

I was really hoping this would entice my older dog to eat because lately she hasn’t really wanted to eat anything but treats.. She likes the treats from Ziwi peak

I was really hoping this would entice my older dog to eat because lately she hasn’t really wanted to eat anything but treats.. She likes the treats from Ziwi peak so figured she would like this, nope.. Non of my dogs would touch this food.. This is too expensive to be wasting like that. It has great ingredient’s and I would still recommended to others to try because of the ingredient’s. Just wish some of these more expensive brands would sell it by the can so we can try it before we commit to those 12 can prices. I ended up giving the cans to my brother so they didn’t go to waste and his dogs ate it up quickly. Guess we will just stick to the treats of Ziwi ..

Quality food just not for my dog

While slowly transitioning my Little sensitive dog I found that she must be sensitive to the mussels. She began vomiting . I know Gracie is allergic to fish so maybe

While slowly transitioning my Little sensitive dog I found that she must be sensitive to the mussels. She began vomiting . I know Gracie is allergic to fish so maybe that’s why she couldn’t tolerate this . I hate the thought we didn’t even use two cans but it’s obvious she can’t eat products with mussels . Very expensive to only find we can’t use it .
