Description

Zoo Med Aquatic Frog & Tadpole Food is a high-protein, sinking micro pellet food. It’s perfect for feeding all types of aquatic frogs and tadpoles. These pellets are designed to sink to the bottom of the tank, where aquatic frogs search for food. They’re specially made with fish meal to provide the protein these water-dwelling frogs need.

Key Benefits
  • These sinking micro pellets are high in protein, meaning you'll feed less
  • They're crafted for all aquatic frogs and tadpoles
  • Fish based formula that frogs would naturally have in the wild
  • It's recommended to clear gravel or substrate from an area and drop the pellets at the bare-bottom for easy maintenance
  • Made in the USA!

  • Great tadpole food

Tadpoles really like this food. They eat every last piece so there is no left over mess in the water.

  • Seems to do the trick

    By on Top 100 Contributor

Only issue I have is my fatty betta will lay on the floor eating these up, but I guess that makes them. Good lol. My frogs enjoy sifting through and finding them. I switch between these and frozen blood worms for my ADF throughout the week.

  • Great for Froglets.

    By on

I've been using this food for several years now. I have no complaints about it. I'm currently using this for my African Clawed Froglets and this works well. I don't use it every time I feed, but it is part of my rotation for froglets only. I will eventually be weaning them off pelleted/granulated foods all together. Once they get to a certain size and are used to being fed live foods. However, I always keep a jar of this in storage for the next wave of littles. If using for tadpoles it helps to soak it first.

  • Frog food now ten characters minimum per requirement of lazy software engineers

I didn't see the frogs eating it but when I looked in later it was mostly gone. Absorbs water and sits on bottom.

I would recommend for tadpoles but the granules are too small for frogs.
