What’s the difference in this one or the mini one?

It looks like the other one can only be used with Nano bulbs.

Why can this lamp not be used with a ceramic heat emitter?? It is 100 watts, says it goes up to 160 watts.

This lamp is fitted for bulbs with E37 compatibility, and ceramic emitters are typically fitted with an E26 socket. The manufacturers of this product recommend using a wire cage clamp lamp with a ceramic heat emitter.

How does this attach to cage? Does it have the squeeze clamp? Or is this for sitting flat on surface under?

This dome lamp can sit on top of the screen cover of your terrarium. It can also be attached with the Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand.

can this be used for a 40g breeder?

This dome lamp can be used with a 55-gallon tank or smaller.

Slightly too big

It works great and produces a ton of heat, but it is about 2 cms to long and has melted the top of the enclosure. Had to Jerry rig it sideways to prevent that. Other

Large dome great for turtle basking

The size is wonderful. Much better upgrade from the previous version since it's much easier to install the bulbs and it allows for a larger surface to heat up and

Very large but has separate cords per barrel.

Does work pretty well for my very large enclosure is reaching the 4 feet down. Each barrel has a separate cord which means more outlets which can be unfortunately

Good light.

My previous light lasted YEARSSS, finally one socket gave out so I had to order a new one. This one has been doing great, no issues and gets the job done.

In the past I had to use a 100w basking light for my tortoise to maintain a marginally warm spot. With this unit I had to reduce to 75w as it directs the heat much

In the past I had to use a 100w basking light for my tortoise to maintain a marginally warm spot. With this unit I had to reduce to 75w as it directs the heat much more efficiently. Another plus is the depth of the hood minimizes the glare from the light in the room.
