Can the cord be extended to a greater length?

The cord for this thermometer is about 6 feet long. It does use batteries if you are unable to plug it in, or an extension cord can be used.

The product says it comes with a battery and there was not one. Useless now as I can't use it and need to either buy a battery or buy another thermometer

cups aren’t great but it’s so far so good

struggled to get the cups to attach. but it works. time will tell how long the battery works. but i know at a glance if the tank is too hot
