I have him in a place with fresh grass and his mineral/food block and we feed him fresh veggies too, but, I wanted to make sure he had everything he needed so the free choice food makes me not worry

I thought our small tortoise would like a change in diet at times but he won't eat it. He eats the Flukers and the fruit and vegetable mix fine.

  • This is GREAT

I cannot describe the ferocity with which my tort attacked the sweet potato pieces (I think? They were too large to be carrots.) The rest is good too. Shame the jar is so small, I'll actually have to get a monthly subscription for this.

  • First time not happy

This is the first item that I have been unsatisfied with from my chewy orders. I tried it today and actually am afraid to feed it to my tortoise. I will not be using it at all. Only reason for one star is to submit this actually it gets no stars from me.

  • Good for price.

My tort is a picky fellow, he tends to pick and choose what portions of the mix he wants to eat. For a tortoise diet, I do not recommend this as a stable of it, just a 2 times a week additive to their grass/hay diet for a nice mix!

  • Torty Food

My Tortoise is really fussy, but after giving it with his regular food he started to eat it. Just had to give it a little time and start taking away the old stuff he was eating.

  • Top Notch Product

We adopted a sickly Russian tortise, and the veterinarian said she needed ZooMed food to supplement her salads. At first I only saw this variety. Then I found the NaturL Grasslands formula that he'd recommended. Both are fantastic products. I like this one because it has dried fruit and flowers mixed in with the grass pellets. Im happy to report that after feeding her this as directed, she is much better.

  • Tortoise food experiment

This food was for a tortoise I've had for over 10 yrs. We recently moved & I was concerned he might not find enough food in the yard. So far he has loved the grass & vegetation that is growing in our back yard. He hasn't shown any interest in the jar of food.
