The size of the sponge

Hermit crabs loved drinking from it. Was dissapointed in the size and was expecting 2 based on the descriptions. Chewy was amazing in sending me the extra sponge

Do NOT use these sponges wet!!

Using these sponges, they become molded and gain bacteria. These are extremely bad for your crabs and can kill them. Dry after being boiled in salt water they become

Hermit crabs DO NOT need this!!! The only good it does for them is that the crab may eat the sponge. They need salt and fresh water bowls that they can FULLY SUBMERGE

Hermit crabs DO NOT need this!!! The only good it does for them is that the crab may eat the sponge. They need salt and fresh water bowls that they can FULLY SUBMERGE THEMSELVES in. Pet store "care guides" are almost completely incorrect for these little guys. Please check out the Land Hermit Crab Owners Society for a PROPER care guide.

My hermit crab loves it. We used to have one but eventually we do throw it away after a few months and replace it. It took us a while to replace it.
