Received Recalled Batch

I've used Zuke's treats ever since we got my now 10 month old puppy, and never had any issues. I bought this flavor for the first time a couple weeks ago. All seemed fine until it wasn't. Out of the blue my pup (who has very regular, very normal stool) had bad diarrhea. This progressed to non-stop diarrhea with non-stop vomiting until there was nothing left in him. These treats were the only change in his diet. I did some research and learned that they were recalled back in 2021! Almost $1500 later, my boy has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and still not feeling like himself. Shame on Chewy for not pulling these batches and continuing to send them out. After reading other reviews I see that others have received the recalled batch as well!

hard as a rock. not soft like before. same Dec Batch since early June

My guess is that they aren’t selling as much product as they purchased and are having them sit in a hot warehouse and slowly are hardening because everyone does deliveries now. I sent back the last two bags and still received same December batch that are STILL hard as a rock. Not too good Chewy, definitely not chewy. Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. :(

Recipe changed

I stopped buying Zuke's and switched to Bil-Jac. Zuke's started adding potatoes and cane sugar to their treats. They are no longer soft like they used to be. I did e-mail the company directly. They just said that they were constantly trying to improve their product. Adding sugar and potatoes does not improve the product. I will no longer buy Zukes. My dog loves the Bil-Jac treats.

These used to be a BIG hit!

Gordon and Missy gobbled these up for years!! The last 2 bags we bought went untouched. No interest whatsoever. Chewy replaced both items, however, once again, no interest. The texture of these cookies is rough, not smooth and soft as they had been before. My dogs loved these things. They gobbled up the last ones, the same as always. Not these new ones. I don’t know what changed, but something has. I won’t do them any more.

Perfect for Training

I had tried numerous items for training. They needed to be exciting, enticing, small, not crumbly or difficult like string cheese. A friend gave us some of these to try because her dog loves them. Well she is right. My Mason is training with them and for once I can get him to do everything. Highly recommend

One of our boys has a chicken allergy which limits the treats available for him. He's been eating them for years & they're just the right size for our little guy.

Great Snack for Training or Rewarding

This is the best treat you can reward your doggie friends with. It is small, low calories, easy to carry in a pocket and dogs love them. I have used this as a reward treat since my dogs were puppies. Always a treat!

Zulke treats

I have 2 rescue dogs. My favorite dog treat for them for YEARS was Caser softie treat. They are discontinued. I am trying new treats to use. The Zulke treats caused diarrhea in one of the dogs!

I’m not positive but these treats were the only variable to my dogs diet recently. They got a bad case of diarrhea shortly after I started using this brand.

Great Training Treat!

My two pups love to work for these threats! They are the perfect size and texture for training! I stick with the PB flavor - aside on the bellies!
