    Parakeets' Favorite Food

These pellets are amazing; my 5 parakeets love them! They're full of real fruits and smell delicious, like bananas and stuff. When I first adopted my birds, they wouldn't eat any pellets, only seeds. I tried introducing Zupreem's "Natural" pellets first, but they would barely touch them. When I got these "FruitBlend" pellets, however, they gobbled them up. The pellets are very colorful and fruity, and my birds act as though they're treats, lol! I've been feeding my birds these pellets for around 4 months now, and they're doing great. They're very active, curious, and playful, and aren't overweight or lethargic. They're very active, curious, and playful, and aren't overweight or lethargic. One thing worth noting is that the dye in the pellets sometimes makes their excrement turn mustard yellow or red. Several hours after putting these pellets in their bowls, I looked in the cage and freaked out at first! Then I remembered the pellets and that cleared things up. But seriously- they loooove these. I thought it would take a couple weeks for them to get used to them, but nope. I suppose the smell and colorful appearance attracted them, and now they'll sometimes even choose these pellets over millet! I couldn't recommend these pellets enough. I currently feed my parakeets a mixture of about 2 parts FruitBlend pellets and 1 part PureFun (also by ZuPreem). They also get plenty of fresh vegetables, of course! I have never had any problems with ZuPreem food and I have 5 very healthy and happy birds! … more

    Colorful and healthy

Our cockatiels are very old and those that eat this diet really like it. The actual cockatiel size is a bit to big and they don't eat it. Parakeet size is perfect. I used the canary/finch size when weaning the babies as it's colorful and good for them. It's funny to watch them when they are changed over to the parakeet size. :)

    Parakeet Food

This food is what is used by The Bird Emporium where we purchased are Bungee. They recommend this food it has everything healthy that a parakeet needs, I also give the dry greens which they love. ❤

I couldn't try this on my birds because the bag was open and the contents was all in the box and all over everything else in the box.

    Fruit Flavors Bird food

    By on

It's a great quality feed. Perfect size for keets. Very colorful and the bag says it's very nutritious for small birds. I'm having trouble with getting my seed only eaters to try it though.
