Amazon Parrots should primarily have pellets as these are the ideal food and should generally represent approximately 75-80% of the bird’s diet. The remainder of the diet should be comprised of fresh fruit and vegetables with very limited seed, if any.

I need this food in med/lrg size. Is this the right one?

Bird pellet size.

The pellets are too large. I used to get pellets that were smaller from Kaytee, but haven't been able to find them anymore, so I substituted Zupreem. I don't want

The pellets are too large. I used to get pellets that were smaller from Kaytee, but haven't been able to find them anymore, so I substituted Zupreem. I don't want bird food that has artificial coloring added to it. My parrot had to bite down the larger pellets before he can eat them. That creates a lot of waste, but due to his type of eating dish I can recycle his food back into its main tray.

The lack of colors/Dyes

I was excited about this one. Our African Gray makes the biggest mess throwing food. I was hopeful this colorless approach would work to help curb that behavior

Good pellets

Our African Grey likes these pellets. He’s been on them for a long time. He’ll be 24 yrs old in the Spring. I like that it comes in a 10lb bag now.

Greenie is a wild caught bird (when that legal) that I purchased from a veterinarian in Cincinnati, OH. I know Zupreem is a trusted brand and I've used it for many years! Greinie was a mature bird when she was brought to the US so I can't say exactly how old she is but you add 5+ years to the 42 yrs she's been with me!

Transition to pellet

Long time user of Zupreme. Not sure still working on switching from seed to the pellet diet. I have better luck with these when i crush them into smaller bites
