Description

Feed your feathered friend a premium-quality diet that appeals to both her physical and behavioral needs with Lafeber Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries Parrot Bird Food. Amazons, African greys and Pionus will dance with delight for the delicious, balanced nutrition and fun-to-eat shape of this veterinarian-developed food that features real delectable pineapple, papaya and mango. The revolutionary shape and crunchy texture provide a variety of beak and tongue sensations that are vital to your bird’s mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Unmatched nutritional value is delivered by hulling the seeds and grains first and then adding essential vitamins and minerals to make sure she gets the maximum benefit from every bite. Balanced Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, chelated minerals, stabilized beadlet-form vitamins, sulfite-free vegetables and fruits, and natural preservatives give your winged companion everything she needs to thrive inside and out.

Key Benefits
  • Unique shape and formulation includes savory nuts and grains as well as real pineapple, papaya and mango in a fun-to-eat shape that promotes foraging and mental stimulation.
  • Unlike most other seed-based foods, Lafeber hulls their seeds and grains first so the added vitamins and minerals are not lost when with the bird cracks and discards the shell.
  • Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids promote healthy skin and feathers, while essential chelated minerals are quickly absorbed for maximum benefit.
  • Made and hand-packed in the USA on the Lafeber farm using sulfite-free vegetables and fruits; naturally flavored and preserved.
  • Veterinarian developed to deliver exceptional nutrition; can be served as a complete diet or an engaging, healthy treat.

"Sonny Sunshine" my Amazon Parrot is thriving on Nutri-berries. I supplement with other seeds, nuts, fruit and vegetables, but NB is his primary diet. Good variety of flavors too.

  • Birds love them!

I give these to my birds throughout the day as treats. They love tearing them apart to get to their favorite bits! The tropical is by far the biggest hit!

I ordered the 20 pound box from Chewy because my previous supplier is doing some changes to their company and are going to be offline for awhile (according to their website). When the box arrived the berries were dried out and were mushed into one big mess. There were practically no "berries" in the box. It was all dried out and in one big square mush cake that fell apart when you touched it. I tried to break some off in the berry size but my Amazon Grey wanted nothing to do with that - so I ordered them again from another supplier. I even put it out for our wild birds and they too wanted nothing to do with it. I am so disappointed as I was hoping to start the program where they would replenish I ordered the 20 pound box from Chewy because my previous supplier is doing some changes to their company and are going to be offline for awhile (according to their website). • Love those NutriBerries!!

With 2 puppies, an "indoor" kitty,3 Birds and a colony of 20"semi-feral" cats who eat on our porch three x/day, we have been happily shopping at Chewy for our pet food and other needs for a few years. A while ago, I asked Chewy if they could please add NutriBerries, our only pet need they didn't carry. Shortly after, NutriBerries appeared on the Chewy website! I ordered two 3 lb. bags, plus a few cases of cat food and a 20 lb. bag of dry food, but when I opened the NutriBerry bags, I was disappointed to find that both bags had been crushed in transit, and the bags were full of "mush." I called Customer Service, told them what had happened, and suggested they advise their shipping department With 2 puppies, an "indoor" kitty,3 Birds and a colony of 20"semi-feral" cats who eat on our porch three x/day, we have been happily shopping at Chewy for our pet food and other needs for a few years. I called Customer Service, told them what had happened, and suggested they advise their shipping department not to pack NutriBerries with heavy items. To my happy surprise, the next day two new bags of NutriBerries were delivered - replacing the crushed ones at no charge! I cannot say enough good things about Chewy, or about NutriBerries! Our 13 year old African Grey and White Capped Pionus LOVE them, and have been eating them along with their fresh veggies and oatmeal (our Grey...) since they were 3 months old. Last year we adopted a Cockatiel who came to us on a seed diet; our avian vet advised a change to pellets asap, but the little bird was not interested. At. All. She was curious about the "seed balls" (Grey-lish for NutriBerries) the others were eating though, so I broke a couple into pieces for her, since they contain a balanced diet including pellets (and a few seeds...). Bingo! Within a week she was fully transitioned to the new diet - and is loving it just like the others! … more

Have used this before and the birds love them. The treats are loaded with fruit and berries and even papaya. Keeps the birds busy and adds valuable nutrition. Great pricing as well.
