Serve 10-12 Nutri-Berries at a time and continue to keep a fresh supply of food and water available at all times.
Serving tip: Most birds with accept Nutri-Berries right away; however, if your bird does not initially eat the Nutri-Berries, crumble them and mix with current diet until accepted. Nutri-Berries, when fed as the main source of nutrition, should be as 80% of the total diet with the other 20% being fresh fruits, veggies and nutritional treats.
Crumble berries into bird's regular diet, and offer whole pieces as well. Reduce the amount of previous diet while increasing berries. Weigh bird daily on a gram scale (kitchen scale). If weight loss of more than 10%, resume previous diet and begin again.

Look good, won't eat
By gandolfcnc on Jan 4, 2021
My double yellow headed parrot won't eat these... even if I break them in half.

I don’t know.
By Abzeez on Jun 3, 2020
Nutri-Berries are my Amazons favorite treat, but I guess not this bag. He’s had sunny orchard flavor in the past with no problems, but when I gave him these today he tasted one and then looked at me as if I offended him in the worst possible way.

My very picky 28 year old African loves these. I never hesitate to try different foods for both dogs, three cats and my bird.

Bird Loves These Nutri-Berries!
By Michelle on May 16, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
I feed these (or one of the other Nutri-Berry flavors) to my bird 2-3 times a week, as a change from her normal pellet diet. She would love to eat them ALL the time!

Very good product
By RCBP on Mar 21, 2020
I gave it 5 stars, because it is a very good product. My african grey used to love all Nutri-Berries. But unfortunely, she has seizures, and it has caused brain damage. So we have a very difficult time getting her to eat anything. But we keep trying all her favorites. and also new things.

Parrot loves Lafeber
By Mrh4287 on Apr 7, 2020
My parrot can be a picky eater but she loves Nutri-berries. I love that this is a healthier alternative to bulk seed and very little waste because she eats it all.

Great Parrot Food and treat!
By Pamela on Oct 21, 2019
This is the only thing my parrot likes for a treat as well as for food. He gets very mad when he does not have this. Sadly when I went to order this it is now not available? Unacceptable but the 4 stars is for how good this product is and should lways be stocked.
