  • I got the results I've come to expect from my birds...

    By on Top 100 Contributor

Those that will happily try every new thing I put in front of them did, the ones that won't, didn't. My little Meyer’s happily picked up one piece at a time, carried it up to his favorite perch, held it in his claw and ate it. My macaw picked a couple pieces up, ate the coating off of them then dropped the rest. That's more than she's done with most treats I've gotten for them. Others act like I'm trying to poison them or something. Unfortunately, this is typical of my birds. Some of them are VERY picky eaters. This is by no means a reflection of the product. My birds have always been particular. These treats are roughly the size and shape of "O" cereals. My birds have always been particular. These treats are roughly the size and shape of "O" cereals. (Not sure if mentioning a brand would be allowed or not). The coating has a very strong strawberry smell. My birds won't notice that, but I certainly liked it. Some of my past friends would have really loved these. These guys are just a spoiled bunch of brats! LOL The only thing they REALLY get excited for....every one of them, is their Nutri-berries. (which they'll be getting later-and they know it.) If your bird isn't as finicky as mine are, give them a try. These would be a good size for parakeets and finches to peck at and for any size hook bill to hold in their claw and eat. … more

Mt cockatiel did not like these. I tried breaking them up and offered them to him. He did not care for them at all.
