How do I apply Advantage Multi for Dogs?
Do not apply to irritated skin.
- Remove one dose applicator tube from the package.
- While holding the tube in an upright position, remove the cap from the tube.
- Turn the cap over and push the other end of the cap onto the tip of the tube.
- Twist the cap to break the seal and then remove cap from the tube.
- The dog should be standing for application. Part the hair on the back of the dog between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
For dogs weighing 20 lbs. or less, place the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin at one spot between the shoulder blades. For dogs weighing more than 20 lbs., place the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin at 3 or 4 spots on the top of the backline from the base of the neck to the upper back in an area inaccessible to licking. Do not apply an amount of solution at any one location that could run off the side of the dog. Do not let this product get in your dog's mouth or eyes. By Ashley on Jan 14, 2021
I give both my dogs Adv. Multi because it works well. Applied once a month, my dogs aren’t bothers by it but it does leave a wet/sticky line for a couple days for it to be completely observed.

Better than all the rest!
By MummyOfTubby on Aug 7, 2020
Before Advantage Multi, my dog had only ever been protected by two other multipurpose topicals (each one covered both worms and fleas). However, one summer, there was this really rare parasite of the nose that my dog contracted and the Vet put him on Advantage Multi to kill that nasal parasite. Since then my dog has been protected from heartworm, intestinal worms, fleas AND one very uncommon parasite that isn’t even listed on this box...all while I benefit from the lower price (compared to the competition)!

Not working!!!!!!
By kiminathens77 on Jul 5, 2020
I've been happy with this product for my two pups for a few years now but not anymore. After only two and a half weeks they have fleas. I applied their monthly dose on week three this month. It's been on for 4 days and all dry now. BUT they still have fleas!!! Also had to add Seresto collars, (extra $100 (once product was dry) to help. Still, tons of fleas that I am flea combing off my small pups several times a day. Very disappointed in both products and wish I didn't spend over $200 on both!!!! Fyi, I have also treated my house and yard several times just in case. BUT these products should be working and not allowing fleas to live on my babies!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!
