I've been ordering this product for years, and recently (the last year or so), I've been receiving cans that are severely damaged. Usually it's one per case or so. But this time, all of the cans in the 12 count case were damaged and 4 of them had their seals broken because they were so dented. I'm starting to wonder if the manufacturer is sending the scratch and dents to Chewy. Not sure I'll be able to keep using this brand if I have to throw away 1/3 of the case.
Good product, pup approved!

I got into the habit of cooking salmon for my dog occasionally to supplement his food. He loves it, its super healthy, etc. That gets expensive fast! This is a great alternative. It is not dog food (not a balanced meal), it’s JUST SALMON with no additives in a shelf stable format. Very useful! Exactly what I needed! I add half a can to his bowl now and then and he’s a happy pup. If your dog tolerates salmon well in food or treats, there shouldn’t be any hesitation to give them this, because again, it’s just salmon.
A very tasty topper

My dog absolutely loves the flavor. He does a happy dance every time I open a can. I give the salmon a 4 only because some may find the fish odor very strong. Definitely will be buying more.

I could tell Asher wasn't to happy with his dog good so I ordered this salmon with another wet food, and he hasn't stopped loving it. I am very happy as well as Sir Asher. The guy who helped me was so very halpful to me!

Not for dogs with digestive problems

Our 15-year-old Jack Russell Terrier has liver problems. The vet suggested that he get most of his protein from salmon. Apparently this food was too - something - intense maybe. Even when we mixed it with rice, he vomited it up every time he ate it. I noticed on the can it says "for intermediate feeding only". I'm not sure what that means. Now I'm not sure if I can even feed it to our other dog.
I still love Chewy. This problem is not their fault. I should have done more research.

Both my Westies love seafood and this Salmon canned food is very good.
I also like Wellness 99% salmon and it is more dense, a feeling of more fish, but both canned foods are terrific

I have been feeding my poodles this food as a topper for over a year. I agree with JoysMama, there is something not right with my last batch, received in August. It looks brownish, smells different and turns gray in the refrigerator. I called Against the Grain and they said their food is fine, they have different suppliers, contact Chewy! So I did and I got treated much better. I’m done with this food, switching to Firstmate.
