The Comfy Cone E-Collar for Dogs & Cats is a soft, cone-shaped Elizabethan collar that helps your precious pet heal and recover in comfort from surgeries, procedures, allergic reactions, hot spots and more. A great alternative to rigid plastic cones, it prevents her from reaching the wounded, sensitive or irritated area while still allowing her to walk, eat, sleep and play comfortably. The unique design features removable plastic stays that let you determine how structured the cone should be – remove them for more flexibility, or leave them in for a firmer set-up. You can even turn it around to cover the neck and upper chest, or fold it back for added freedom while eating and drinking, as well as when checking or medicating wounds. Best of all, this special design conforms to doorways, pet doors and other openings for unobstructed freedom of movement.

The Comfy Cone is not a toy and is not for children to play with. As with all medical devices and e-collars, please supervise your pet while wearing.
For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If you do not have a measuring tape, feel free to use the Printable Measuring Tape provided on this page.
Neck Size: Measure the broadest part of the neck, leaving room for two fingers.
Neck to Nose:N Measure from the base of the pet’s neck, where their collar sits comfortably, to the tip of their nose. Your pet's nose must be shorter than the depth of the cone.
If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

I ordered this cone collar and the separate extension panel to use during ACL Surgery recovery for my 60-lb Springer. The cone is still pretty stiff, even with the plastic stiffener's removed. Also, when you fold the cone over it doesn’t lie flat where folded, so it only turns out about 90 degrees so it was then pretty wide at the end and made it overly tight for my dog to turn around inside his kennel. I bought the extension panel based on the site’s sizing info and my measurement of the dog’s neck, but found I didn’t actually need the extension panel. The collar loops at the neck attachment end are also rather flimsy. All in all, I found this to be not significantly better than the plastic cone collar that I already had.
We have a large Dutch Shepherd who got a gash on her leg. The plastic cone was uncomfortable for her so we bought this softer version. It has some drawbacks: it blocks peripheral vision, it's heavy for its size, and it makes the dog hot. Being soft, it is more comfortable for sleeping.
This is a pretty nice collar. Very well made and I believe it would do the job it's intended to do. My issue was that in order for it to be long enough to extend past my 45 lb Blue Heelers nose and be the right size around her neck, I had to order an XL. Unfortunately this made it too heavy for my girl. She freaked out when I put it on her. Guess I'm back to the uncomfortable hard plastic ones. Chewy refunded my money (as always, GREAT customer service) and I will donate it to my local shelter.
I have used my share of E-Collars. This is without a doubt the best! This cone is quiet, seems better for my dog's peripheral vision, stays in place, is easy for my pup to sleep in, and it cleans up well! I have an active Vizsla. This E-Collar was perfect.
My 95 pound berner puppy was neutered last week, and this is the only one out of six cones that we purchased that did not break, pop, bust apart, or get chewed to pieces. One star off because it is kinda finicky to get on and off.
In my canine crew (including grand puppies who visit often) consists of pugs, Frenchies and a mix breed (14 lbs). I have purchased MANY cones ... as you know, these breeds can be hard to fit with just about anything. These cones are easy to put on (even for a pooch trying to avoid me!) and easy for ME to take off (so far, none of them can figure out an escape!). I also like the 'extra long' options ...
This collar has seams where it should fold into a circle but it was more triangular. I think it was just too heavy and awkward for a Mini Aussie ( the medium seemed to be the right size) I ended up not using it for more than an hour.
I have used comfy cones for years and needed a new one. Product has maintained its high quality over the years. My dog doesnt mind it because she can still chase ball while wearing it.
I like the sturdiness of this cone. It's kind of stiff, though & a bit heavy for my little dog.
THE BEST CHOICE.. Helping my sons dog after a mast infection on paw, Now Midnight can eat her food better, and this collar is so comfy for her to rest and easily can be removed to go outside to go to the bathroom, then come in and put back on.. Not like the vet collars.. THANK YOU SOO MUCH
