What if my dog licks it ?
Answer by ChewyMay 31, 2023
This chlorhexidine spray is safe for dogs, but of course with any medical treatment for external use, you should let it dry completely and take precautions to discourage your pet from licking the treated area.

Strong Essential Oil Smell

I have no doubts that the product works if it can be applied. However, cats have very sensitive noses and are repelled by strong essential oil smells. Besides being impossible to spray on the cats, especially since the issue was under the chin, they became extremely irritated by the smell. If your cats or dogs are sensitive to strong smells, this is not the product for you. It is also a pinkish orange color so beware of your fur baby has a white coat.

Works Great!!

Decided to purchase this after my dog got some nasty bug bites. It really helped them heal quick while also kept her from itching. It’s easy to apply and I love that this product has a great scent too!

works well

My dog had a hot spot/skin irritation & initially I had tried a different spray, but he would go back to licking it until it became an open sore. This cleared it up quickly & it's no longer an issue.
