Water in a can
This is by far the absolute worst canned dog food I have ever purchased. I have been using American Journey for years and will never buy another can. They won’t eat the slop even if we mix in dry stuff to soak it up. It’s just muck in a can. We will donate.

picky pup loves it
Love that there's an option without chicken in the recipe! My pup is picky, but she devours both this beef/vegetable recipe and the turkey recipe as well. It's a loaf, so no pressed cubes of meat, which makes it easier to mix w/ dry food, and there's nothing my pup spits out, so that's a double win!
Weird consistency
I've been using this food for several months. The consistency varies so much that I've decided to look for a different option. Sometimes it's thick but then other times it's like soft serve ice cream, all from the same case. Lately it's also has a weird white coating on the bottom that I'm hoping is just fat? Between the 2 issues, I'm going to be looking for something else.

So far this is the BEST Food for my Shih Tzu’s. Thank you for making a BEEF product that actually 100 BEEF just as the label reads “Beef” I have removed chicken from their diet. They no longer scratch, lick, chew themselves from irritated skin. Maggie has perked up playing more, ready to run walk ….let’s Go she says! This is a perfect pâté I mix with dry. I no longer have to beg them to eat. Thank you

American Journey is really good food, my dogs love it and it is very nutricious.
Quality ingredients at a competitive price
My dogs love the canned American Journey dog food. I use it as a topper over their kibble. I found the ingredients to be far superior to other canned foods in the same price range.

Chester "sort of" likes this canned food as long as there is some sort of human meat in the bowl with it, otherwise he won't eat it alone.
Just ok-very weird texture
This food is just ok. I like that it’s beef but it has an odd texture. It’s extremely puréed, like a cat food pate. My boys will eat ANYTHING so no issues there.
