I use these, along with the beef flavor, on walks and for training treats. They're long and have little indentations every inch or so to make it easy to break, and I like that I can break off bigger or smaller pieces since my dog is pretty big. They are a little dry, but my dog really likes them!
I have an almost 12 yr old German Shorthaired Pointer who has battled gum/tooth issues since very young (she also was the runt). She absolutely loves these! Thank you!!
My 1 year old Doxie loves these delicious treat sticks. She has tried multiple flavors and likes them all but the chicken seems to be her favorite.
I bought two packages, and they were hard as rocks. My small dog smelled the treaty and walked off. I tried breaking it in prieces, he spit it out. I wouldn't recommend this. They are very hard.
These treats made my dog pretty sick. She's not a dog that gets sick easily, has food allergies, or has a sensitive stomach and this has never happened from dog treats before. She had upset stomach and really bad diarrhea the morning after she ate these for the first time, I thought maybe she licked or ate something on her walk somehow without me noticing and didn't suspect the treats at first because she's never been ill from treats or food before. 4 days later I ran out of her regular treats and let her have another one of these and she was sick again. She's had no issues other than after she ate these and has a clean bill of health from vet. Several vets have told me to stay away from brands like American Journey or Blue dog food and buy only WSAVA approved brands but I didn't think a few of their treats would be that bad. I've bought the training bits before and they were fine but don't think I'll purchase anything from this brand again, food just shouldn't cause illness.
My three dogs absolutely love these snacking sticks!!! I usually break them in half. I would definitely recommend this product!!
American Journey products are made here in US by Chewy. I don't think they've ever had a recall. After some expensive stomach issues it's the only brand of food and treats I will use.
My 6.4 Yorkshire Terrier loves these sticks and could eat the whole bag at once if I would let him.
My dog didn't like these which was kind of surprising. However, I think these would be great for training because they are easy to break apart. So if your dog likes the flavor, these could eb great for training.
This was a big hit for our fur babies. Specially our other oldest baby girl missy who needs soft treats. They loved them
