My chihuahuas were complaining because the cats had yummy American Journal cat food, so it was time to spoil them too. They loved the Duck & Sweet Potato, and are doing a happy dance! Totally worth it.
My dogs are always excited to get their delivery, and they swear it tastes just like dog food!
I wanted to try a different flavor, came across the duck. I have a real picky eater. but my other girl will eat anything. if anything she gets the hole bag. I did a small scoop in each bowl just so they could try it out. my picky eater at all of his and then pushed her out of her dish so he could eat her food also., Thats a big plus... the ingredients is what sold me on the American Journey brand, and I love that there is no fillers or junk in the food.
I have taken a tour around many American journey foods. This is the one they love! Great ingredients- which all American journey has. But this, by far, is their favorite.
I've never seen her so excited about her food! She enjoys it very much. Her stools are still a little loose, but she is older and it may be age.
Love American Journey Grain Free dog food. Have been buying the chicken and sweet potato but decided to try the duck and sweet potato. My dog loves it just as much.
Jenny really likes this dog food and does not hesitate to eat this food
So my dogs went nuts for this stuff, but they also have never pooped this much before in their lives. Not only do they poop every time they go outside now, but it's like twice the volume too. Perhaps it's the sweet potato? But from what I know about dog food this suggest there's a lot of filler, and its just not a good food. The bag also is suggesting I feed what I think is too much, as they gained weight amidst all these bowel movements.
This is my first time using American Journey food, I had used another brand for a very long period. I decided to try something different and I have used American Journey treats for a while and the dogs love them !!! My dogs can be finicky and so far so good with the A-J duck and sweet potatoe dry food !
I changed my dog's food as recommended. Combining with old food and slowly incorporating until Blue Buffalo was gone and American Journey was the primary food. I was hoping this change would work for us, as AJ is cheaper. But, my fur baby started itching immediately. I decided to give it more time, so we completed the first bag and started the second bag. My dog is still biting his feet and scratching. I'm going back to BB. He was doing good on his old food. I just wanted a cheaper option. Didn't work for us. :(
