Transition Instructions
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.
1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

True quality cat food that also protects our oceans
The perfect cat food for anyone who loves their cat, wants their cat to eat nutritious and clean food, and also wants to ensure their cat’s food does not come from sources that overfish species and otherwise destroy our oceans.
The pet food industry is a leading contributor to overfishing of species and unnecessary bycatch of marine animals caused by unsound fishing practices. When I saw the Marine Stewardship Council’s (MSC) label on this Annamaet bag of food, I was so happy and had to see if my cat would like it. And he does like it very much, from the first bite. I applaud Annamaet for taking the step to ensure this fish-based cat food complies with MSC standards! And I am grateful that Chewy stocks this terrific cat food!
Given the quality of the food the price was more than reasonable and Chewy’s ordering and shipping process were seamless as they always have been for all the years I have shopped them.

Picky Kitten Approved!
I couldn’t find a food that my kitten would eat. After trying several foods, I came across this one. Cheddar comes running when she hears the food hitting her bowl and gobbles it up. She meows and whines for more!

I like the ethos and my cats like the favor
My two cats love it. I’ve got a scarf and barfer, and it’s only been a few days but he hasn’t puked up this one yet. I don’t love the strong fishy smell, but I don’t have to eat it.

Sustainable caught and my picky cat loves iT
My kitty is picky and only really likes fish dry formulas. This is somewhat of a concern since it can lead to urinary crystal formation and has caused issues in the past with some very reputable brands(kindness, wilderness by blue buffalo). The science diet specifically designed to combat the problem is full of fillers and corn! UGH. I have had her on feline sustain for 6 months now with no problems and she readily eats it. I offer this in addition to wet served twice a day in a puzzle type feeder so she doesn't gorge. The kibble is big enough for her to scoop it out unlike some smaller round food. On top of it, the fish is sustainably sourced, which is a big plus for me.
