Is there any concern about the arsenic content of brown rice and the mercury content of the fish in your various pet foods? Do you do any testing for heavy metals?
Answer by • Apr 14, 2021
Raw materials coming in are tested for aflatoxins and vomitoxins, and no products are released without salmonella and ebac testing as well as proximate analysis to insure proper nutrient levels. Annamaet also sends out samples of all formulas produced for independent lab analysis for overall nutrient analysis including vitamins, minerals, PUFAS and heavy metal testing.
I bought this food upgrade my dog food that I was giving my dogs.
After feeding my pit for a few weeks, I noticed he has bad skin rash now.
My 13 year old lab mix has had severe diarrheas, throwing up, and rubbing her nose all over the furniture.
After an expensive visit to the vet to find out what was going on along with a meds, I stopped giving the food to them and the symptoms went away.
I will never buy this food again!!!

Finally found a quality dry food everyone likes
We have five rescues and the four medium- large dogs all like this. I feel good giving them a healthy alternative too. The price is steep but worth it.

replaced an rx food
My dog was on expensive, name brand prescription food for years for his stomach issues. After learning that the Rx foods are basically a scam, and about how clean Annamaet is, we gave it a go. My active Aussie Shepard loves this food! His stomach has been great on it.

Chicken allergy?
I wanted so badly to love this food, but my male’s skin got super dry and itchy, and he lost a large patch of hair on his rump! I’ve been trying so hard to find a food that eliminates his itching and he is on multiple supplements now for skin and coat health. I am so disappointed that it didn’t work for us and I wasted $80 bucks! :( Seems like a great food/company though!
