its a good litterbox that can not trap your pet. HOWEVER....

i want to give this 5 stars but there is 2 major issues. firstly, how do i get a new liner??? i cant find them here nor other stores. cant find Aoruefar's homepage

i want to give this 5 stars but there is 2 major issues. firstly, how do i get a new liner??? i cant find them here nor other stores. cant find Aoruefar's homepage to order more for when the liner starts to break down. sedcondly the wheels between the chamber and the base are extremely tight and have no way to prevent litter from entering the wheel assembly. within a month some litter got one of mine and made them squeak something fierce. thankfully i was able to take it apart and clean it out. i also made 1 small modification with sand paper and some white lithium grease so the wheels spin more freely. once i did that there have been no more squeaks out of it. the internals are all held together by screws and standard parts with a nice chunky geared motor. so all in all id say its pretty repairable if parts were easier to access. all in all see if you can get a better box that has spare parts available. those really matter for automatic litter boxes. at minimum you should be able to easily buy a replacement liner.

Surprisingly works great

We had a different older design litter box that raked the litter and used special trays. We now use this natural clay litter (clumping) in this unit and what a difference!

We had a different older design litter box that raked the litter and used special trays. We now use this natural clay litter (clumping) in this unit and what a difference! We decided to try this one as it had a larger opening and a slide out tray. For the price, it is amazing. The sealed waste compartment is the star of the show. All waste is locked away in a carbon-filtered drawer, and I can honestly say there is zero odor in my studio apartment. Before this, the litter box was the first thing you smelled walking in. Now, you'd never even know it's here. It's also virtually dust-free, which is better for my cat's lungs and keeps my floors cleaner. If odor and cleanliness are your main concerns, this product is an absolute must-buy.

It could be really good, it’s very quiet. The cats aren’t too terrified of it. One guy used it the first day and my other guy took a day or two to use it but they are using it. It’s too small for a larger cat. About 25% of the time their little butt is hanging out and it goes on the floor. There isn’t enough room to get in there comfortably.

Absolutely hated it.

If you have a cat that digs a lot, this is DEFINITELY NOT the product for you. It's so small that if the cat digs just a little you're going to have litter everywhere

If you have a cat that digs a lot, this is DEFINITELY NOT the product for you. It's so small that if the cat digs just a little you're going to have litter everywhere. It constantly clogs and requires cleaning. And the genius that designed it decided to make the spot where the litter goes out of a cloth like material so it will always stink. Overall I bought it expecting convenience and now I have more issues to deal with. Would NOT recommend.

As a result, I am having difficulty with poop odor. Also the app is also a challenge. I have to reset it often or it stops working with the box. Cleaning was also labor intensive. You have to take it apart to clean.

My cat's pee mixes with the litter at the back (I've used two kinds of litter, one being specifically recommended for automatic litter boxes) and clogs not only the grate but the area behind the grate, so that the drum simply will not rotate. The box is too shallow, and the bottom of the litter box is made of cloth that is now soaked with urine. What were they thinking?
