You must add 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) for every 5 gallons of aquarium water. The 1.25 ounce treats 10 U.S. gallons of fresh or salt water and the 4 ounce bottle treats 118 U.S. gallons of fresh or salt water

Is it safe for crabs?

The Super Ick Cure does not contain copper or other heavy metals, so this product is able to be used with crustaceans in the aquarium. With any sensitive species, we urge caution in making sure that the product is used at the correct dose for only the amount of water within the aquarium (account for water displacement by substrate, decorations, etc). If in doubt, always err on the side of caution and use the half dose.

Does this product harm the beneficial bacteria colony in an established aquarium?

White spot noticed- quarantined the sick ones. For three days, they were swimming normally, if a little spotty and itchy looking. After applying this medicine, at 1/4 the recommended dosage mind you, all fish started suffering. the 5 tetra sank to the bottom, scales began to look much flakier and "burned", all 5 passed within hours. Betta's fin tips are falling off, and he looks miserable. Less than 12 hrs after applying this medicine, I'm down 5 fish, and I'm so happy I didn't dose my entire tank with this poison. DO NOT BUY
