7 Customer Questions
what would happen if I put too much of this water conditioner in my turtle tank? would it cause any symptoms I should be aware of? Also what's the difference between this water conditioner and the Zoo Med Reptisafe one? Do I need both and if so how much of each. I have a 75 gallon tank
Answer by • Jun 08, 2020
It is not detrimental to add a little extra conditioner. This removes harmful chlorine and chloramine which can irritate eyes and skin as well as detoxifies heavy metals. Zoo Med removes chloramines and chlorine, detoxifies ammonia and nitrites, and provides essential ions and electrolytes, which help to hydrate newly acquired animals. The Zoo Med water conditioner also stimulates slime coat development in amphibians and fish.
