I bought this for my adult turtle who i have had for multiple years and the sticks were WAY too big. i do not reccommend this
Got this food for my Ella and she refused to eat it, we tried multiple times and she refused! Going to go back to the ReptoMin floating food sticks without probiotics
I was very excited to get this for my 15 y/o RES. He’s used to Reptomin, and this seemed even better suited to his age. Well. He took a few bites and decided NOPE. I ended up having to net it out and let him stew in his own juices that day. I should’ve known; he’s also refused to eat the regular formulation Reptomin if it’s the appropriate for him larger-sized pellet. So back to regular for him. If your turtle is not a ridiculous fusspot, though, these look good. And, as an aside, my cats very much enjoyed the few pieces that fell on the floor.
My turtle is now about 16 years old and I just started feeding him PRO Reptomin instead of regular Reptomin. He eats Pro much more quickly than the regular and never leaves any behind. In addition, there is very little to no odor now and there is practically no cloudiness in the tank. I highly recommend this new formula—you’ll be extremely happy!
Have had my red eared slider turtle for 28 years and among other brands he has always eaten Tetra ReptoMin floating sticks. I read about changes in their diet as they age and to much of or lacking in the proper ingredients of their food. So I read about PRO ReptoMin adult formula and found it contained all he needs and doesn't need in his adult years. Less fat & more plant base. He loves it!! Now the challenge is to make sure I don't over feed him cause he would eat all day lol. Thank you Tetrafauna. Tuggie the turtle & his mom, Oregon 4/19
