We have a 10-gallon tank with tropical freshwater fish. At first, we had no heater as it was summer and the water was staying at 76 degrees. As soon as fall came the temps started fluctuating, dipping down to 66 at night. As a kid I had fish and 2x they all died when the heater was accidentally adjusted. This heater has no settings to mess up. We attached it to the back wall corner , where, due to its compact size, it is rather unobtrusive to our underwater scene. We have a thermometer in the front opposite corner and now it always reads 78 degrees F. The red light shows when it is actively heating and goes off when it has reached 78. We have had it for a month and so far it has worked perfectlyWe have a 10-gallon tank with tropical freshwater fish. Perfect little heater!

This little aquarium heater replaces a glass one I have had for years. This heater is perfect for a 10-gallon aquarium, has a very small profile, is encased in plastic and keeps the water temperature very, very even at 78 degrees. A true bargain too at just a little over $11.00!
Good for a preset heater

I bought this for a knock-off Fluval V tank, because I needed something small enough to fit into the filter compartment, and the old Top Fin brand one I had was for a 2.5 gallon tank and just wasn't doing the job. It fits perfectly, and does a pretty good job for a preset heater, it's just not keeping the tank quite as warm as it claims to. My fish is fine at the temp it's maintaining, though.
Warm and cozy

Works good. Warmed up the water . I have a 10 gallon tank . it would be great for a 5 gallon. I will just have to get one more. Thank you chewing. You save me from having to go to town and I really like that.:)
It's pretty good!

When I get a heater, I always try experiments before I use them, just in case. When I tried it in a 1 gallon hanging Shrimp tank, it keeps it at exactly 78°F and doesn't even fluctuate. It did the same thing in a 5 gallon Betta hospital tank. However, when I tried it on my 15 gallon Betta tanks, it was only able to keep it at 76°F. Overall, I do recommend this heater, as I just ordered a 100w, and that certainly did the trick!
I love Chewy

Very reasonable price. Placed in 60 gallon community tank. Inconspicuous, steadily keeps doing its job! Keeping tank at 78°, very pleased with purchase.
This Product Is Awful

The minute I read the directions and hooked everything thing up it wouldn't work. The red light would turn on for a split second and then turn right back off. I just wasted my money on something that doesn't even work.

Just set it and forget it!!!
Umm where have I heard that saying before??

I love the fully submersible heaters that you don't have to mess with or adjust. Just suction it to the back of the tank and plug it in. This one was perfect for my 36 gallon tank
