Excellent addition to my cleaning arsenal
By Christo on Feb 25, 2021
I had a previous version of the without the priming bulb, which worked fine, but often scared the fish, because you had to quickly plunge the collector tube into the water multiple times to get the suction to begin working...sometimes difficult to do. The Priming Bulb makes all the difference! With a couple of quick squeezes, the siphoning starts, and you can begin cleaning the gravel. Works great, even when the water level of the tank gets low.

Small Siphon for Quick Water Changes
By Shelly on Jan 18, 2021
Bought this small siphon for maneuverability after changing to sand substrate. I have used it probably 10 times and only experienced one time that it didn’t prime in the first 3 pumps. The suction is a little low for getting some of the heavier debris, but it does the job.

Gravel/Siphon
By Piper5mths on Oct 13, 2020
I bought the Python one bc the one I had was cheaply made. The Python works excellent it has great suction to clean the gravel. It is alittle awkward to use at first bc it’s stiff not very pliable. Once you get the hang of it you’ll love it !! I absolutely recommend giving it a try!!

Hard to use
By RobnKit on Jul 23, 2020
This pump is very hard to use. The part that holds the tube that goes into the bucket doesn't fit and it keeps coming out of the bucket making a mess on the floor. It's also hard to pump the water to get a good flow started. I found it's better to just take out the water off the top and change and clean it that way.

It was damaged when I received it.
By Meemo on May 27, 2020
Doesn't suction at all. There is no plastic piece inside the tube to stop items from being sucked into the hose (like, idk, fish). worst of all is the bulb was cracked. Of course didn't realize it until I was already siphoning a large tank so I tried to tape it up but it didn't work. Dang thing leaked all over the floor before I noticed This is an item I'm going to need to go to a store and buy to make sure that it's not damaged. since I used it I don't think I can return it so I'll just take it apart and use the hose on it for another aquarium application. Aquarium gravel cleaner
By Prettylongtail on Aug 1, 2020
Love the hose and cleaner tube good size is fast. But bulb to make it prime just didn’t work for me back to the old sucking on the tube holding finger over end to dump. Fills a five gal tub fast! Just wish the bulb worked.

Big but works!
By GreatNeptune on Aug 10, 2020
I recommend this for your larger tanks! They do have a smaller size as well. The siphon bulb is a game changer.
