About Arm & Hammer
For over 165 years, people have trusted the Arm & Hammer brand for a range of versatile, effective and environmentally safe household products. In 1992, they introduced their signature cat litter, made with odor-absorbing baking soda, to give pet parents an effective solution for litter box odor. Their line for pets includes a range of innovative cat litter and dental care products to help make the lives of people and pets better every day.
I bought this to take, unopened, for my cats to use while we were at a hotel. I was concerned that I could detect the smell through the thick bag. Opened in the hotel bathroom? ODG, the scent was overpowering. I don't know if my cats would have used it or not, but I could not tolerate the scent in the bathroom that also scented the room.
Good thing I had a car. I drove to the closest grocery store [closer than pet stores] and bought a small bag of their usual, unscented litter, World's Best Cat Litter.

Makes cleanup a breeze!
I NEVER thought I'd write a review for cat litter, I mean, quite literally the stuff my cats poop in, but Arm and Hammer has come up with a "formula" that actually (and I can't believe I'm saying this) makes it more than tolerable, dare I say, pleasant? It's super lightweight, and seems to shrink everything that goes in it. I always hated how heavy clay litter is, and although there are other lightweight litters out there, this one seems to really dry the "leavings" up and keep them from breaking apart as I scoop. Not the cheapest litter, but well worth it!

Absolutely Amazing
If your looking for a litter that really works, you have come across it! This litter is absolutely amazing. We have one cat and a 18 lb bag last us at least 2 months. There is NO litter box smell at all in those 2 months. If you think that can’t be true well trust me it is. We will NEVER buy anything else ever again. The smell is wonderful, the clumping is amazing. Try it you will not be sorry. I honestly don’t know how anyone can give this under 5 stars.

Floral scented cat poop
This litter is so strongly scented that it invaded every part of my home (before our cat even used it!)
Once my cat started using it, the scent got worse. In addition to the overpowering floral scent, we now had the smell of cat poop assaulting our nostrils. We gave it a couple weeks in hopes that it would get better, but it did not. On the plus side, the litter did clump really well, which made it easy to scoop.

new lightweight does the job
I purchased A&H Hardball litter from a Chewy promotion. With 5 cats and 2 litter boxes, 1 of which is upstairs I liked the sound of a good lightweight litter.
I was not disappointed. Though I’ve only been using this litter for 1 month I’m thinking Hardball will be my permanent litter.
Reason for 4 stars is that you cannot seal the bag. Between 2 litter boxes I do use the full bag for the monthly “big clean out”. But for week to week refills I need to be able to scoop and reseal the bag. Don’t know why the bag does not have a handle or a way to close the bag.

Not worth the price
It’s SMELLS SO BAD! My entire house smells like a kitty litter and I have a litter robot so it’s always clean. It also is not clumping into hard balls and sticking all over my litter robot not pleased with this product. It is also a weird color and texture so my cats were unsure of it at first

Definitely not indestructible clumps.
I wouldn’t waste your money on this litter, due to the fact that these clumps aren’t any harder than any other brand of clumping litter I’ve used. I will say that it does have a really pleasant floral smell though.

Works great, scent too strong
This litter works amazingly but the heavily perfumed scent is way too much. My house is small, I could literally smell it in every room, even in the basement. If Arm and Hammer ever makes this in unscented I will be a customer for life.

BEST litter I have ever used!
For the last several years I've primarily used a different popular brand of clumping clay litter for my 2 cats, although I've tried a variety over the years: clay, corn, paper, wood pulp. My dad has been singing the praises of Arm & Hammer litter, so I decided to give it a try. This is the third Arm & Hammer litter product I've tried, and this is the end of my experimentation because THIS IS THE BEST LITTER EVER. Seriously, try it now! I thought the hard clumping thing would be just a bit of a gimmick, but it's really amazing how it traps scents and doesn't stick to the box or the scooper.
Pros:
* Controls bathroom smells amazingly well. I usually do a full change of the boxes every two weeks. This Hardball was still doing so well that I left it for three before a full change, and I honestly could have left it longer.
* Clumps all of the liquid super fast, and it doesn't leave any muddy mess drying on the box. When you do change out the box everything just slides right out super easy and it just needs a quick swipe with a Clorox wipe; it's not the long, icky scrub I was used to with the litter I used before.
* It's slightly pricier per pound, but since it's going to extend the time between full changes, it ends up a bit cheaper for me.
* It's lightweight so I don't have to drag 40 lbs up and down stairs.
* Comes in a very sturdy bag. Much smaller amount of waste than plastic jugs/bins or even the cardboard box plus plastic bag of the brand I used before.
* Dust free. It's got a kind of half sand, half sawdust consistency, and pouring it into the box there was no dust coming up.
* Very, very little tracking. Let's be honest, all litter tracks somewhat, but this tracks the least of any litter I've tried outside of those paw-bruising giant pellet ones.
Two small cons:
* The bag it comes in isn't resealable. (I bought a plastic container to put the extra litter in, problem solved.)
* Slightly stronger scent than I'd like -- it's a pleasant light floral, but it can be a bit pervasive for the first couple of days after a full box change. (FWIW, I seem to be a bit more sensitive to the scent than others. My dad hasn't found this problem with A&H litters, and a friend who came over to the house was unbothered by the scent even when I thought it was at its worst.)
Bottom line, this litter far exceeded my expectations and I strongly recommend it. It's literally the best litter I have ever used.

I had extremely high hopes, only to be disappointe
I love Arm & Hammer corn litter, so when I seen Chewy was running a half price promotion for this litter, I figured why not give it a try.
Here’s my honest opinion,
It is lightweight, which is great.
When I opened the bag it smelled horrible. Like dirt, I am use to A&H having a very strong fragrance smell. I still decided to use it, since I need to give it an honest review. The litter does clump great, it’s fine like sand (no problem) tracking is a nightmare, but I honestly never found a litter that doesn’t track, so I can’t deduct points for that.
I’ve had this litter in the litter box for a day and I couldn’t wait to get rid of it.
Sadly my cats aren’t thrilled with it either and they prefer to use the the other litter boxes (A&H corn litter)
