My cats loved the high walls and that it's warm, but it's a bit too big for regular sized cats. The bottom cushion is garbage. I had it for maybe a week before it flattened out. There might as well not be a cushion there at all. I've had a different cat bed for over a year and it hasn't flattened at all. Goes to show the poor quality of this one. If you're really set on getting this, you'll either need to tear open and stuff the pillow, or just get an entirely different one. My cats like it enough but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has elderly cats.

He stopped sleeping in his old bed and he would lay on the carpeted step. I thought well I’ll wash the old bedding but he still would not sleep in his old bed. When this arrived it was perfect for him I’m so pleased he’s 15 years old and should not be sleeping on the steps. Thank you!!

I got this bed for my cat in what turned out to be his final days. He had to wear a cone (E-Collar) due to cyst under his bad eye. It made it tough for him to sleep and sometimes if he slept wrong he would accidentally push the eye into the collar and make it bleed. He couldn't sleep on/under purr pad, on couch, etc easily anymore. This bed was perfect as it enabled him to prop his head up and get some rest without injury. I had to wash it twice and both times everything came clean. Once he peed in it and that came right out. Second time was just to get the blood out. He got a lot of use out of it in the week or so we had it before he had to get put down. I don't write reviews for products often, but had to say I think this is a great purchase. So glad I got it.

Old Boy is almost 15 and prefers a bed with depth. His old, beloved bed needed to be replaced. I looked for something similar and decided to try this. He had no problem adapting. Only reason for four stars is it's not yet gone through a couple launderings. The pillow on the bottom is nice and thick, but he prefers to snuggle as deep down in there as he can, so I've put it to the side for now.
