Barkworthies Bully Sticks Small Dog 4-in Grain-Free Dog Treats, 4-oz bag

I love these sticks for my little yorkie because they are the only stick I could find that he can actually chew on and not break pieces off to eat and swallow. I feel they are safe for him that way. It keeps him busy. I found that some of them do have a slight order but if they didn’t he probably wouldn’t like them. They don’t make my house smell bad at all and I’m a clean freak. I will continue to buy them as long as my yorkie likes them.

Our Lily loved these chews, first bag. Next bag, not so much. Anyone who has a finicky pet will relate to this behavior! We'll try again in a few weeks...sigh.

Unsure about this product

My pup loves these, but I had to throw out the few remaining ones because they smelled so bad. The first several sticks were fine, but the last ones had a very strong odor. I purchased this brand because they were supposed to be odor free. My pup chewed on them for just a few minutes when the whole room was filled with a horrible stench! Will not buy again.

Good for small dogs

Just the right size for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I like the simple ingredient, no rawhide

Inconsistent sizes and shapes

Barkworthies small dog bully sticks are inconsistent in their sizes and shapes. They avertise by picture consistent size and shapes but this is not true! The package I received had bulges in each stick so much so that I was afraid my small dog might get a piece stuck in his throat if it broke off and get chocked. I would not recommend if you have a small dog due to safety concerns. It may not be safe if you have a large dog either.

Not All of the Sticks are Small Dog Sized

The quality of the sticks is good. However, I purchased these for my little dogs expecting them to be at most standard diameter. Unfortunately, in the same bag are some that are tiny to the point, in my opinion, of being almost unsafe while others are jumbo in thickness. This doesn't make much sense for dogs with tiny mouths. My dogs have no interest in the jumbos and because this is a bag based on weight I find that nearly 1/3 of the bag I opened is unusable.

Finally a bully stick that does not smell! My puppy loves these and they seem to last longer than other brands.

I was disappointed in this product because the sticks were not consistently the same size. A couple of them were way too big for a small dog.

Miniature pinscher approved

I have four Min Pins and they love these bully sticks. The chews usually last a few days because I use them while my dogs are crated. I love that these sticks are dental safe and my pups can satisfy their natural need to chew without harming their teeth. There is only one ingredient in this treat making it perfect for dogs with food allergies. One word of advice is to purchase a bully stick holder because the small nub of the bully stick can pose a choking threat to smaller dogs.
