How do you know what size to order?

To choose the correct size, measure your dog's back length (from the base of the neck to the base of the tail) and chest circumference (around the body, behind the front legs) and compare with the size chart. Approximate weight can vary based on breed. We recommend using a fabric measuring tape if you have one, which is easiest to get an accurate measurement. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend opting for the bigger. You don’t want your BellyGuard to be too snug on a healing incision or on irritated skin. Plus, two layers of snaps make for an adjustable, customizable fit.

Must have for spaying!

The BellyGuard is a wonderful product! Our mini Aussie is kind of on the spaz side, and she wouldn't tolerate the cone. We tried 2 different inflatable collars and she wouldn't use those either. She doesn't mind the BellyGuard at all. Easy to put on and washes up perfectly. What a Godsend. ❤️

Buy two

This is a great onesie and worked very well when my Toby was neutered. My poor little guy had several accidents while wearing it, and of course I went into panic mode! After cutting a tee shirt down the middle to cover his incision it dawned on me I should have had a back up. Also I dried his onesie inside a garment bag which helped the drying process. Hope this helps.

Wilson Recovers

My dog, Wilson, is 12 1/2 years old and needed to have a mass removal / biopsy. This onesie did the trick to keep him from bothering the surgical site. And it’s cute too!

Comfortable suit.

We were told by our veterinarian that the “body suit” is better than the “cone of shame”. We tried it and we will not go with the “cone” anymore. She had no problems with wearing it.

Nice to ditch the Elizabethan collar for this onsey. Pup tolerates it very well.
